I just looked up Shiny Blade (I know his real name and where he went to in the US) and there was an interview with him when we was living there in 2012 so must have been before that. Also Radio Blade looks like a reight babbie!

He always could be a bit mardy, though.

Yep, Shiny disappeared off the radar a long time ago!

I last saw Shiny when he gave me a lift after the Exeter City pre-season friendly in August 2001. He dropped me off at Michaelwood Services on the M5 and was never seen again!

I was in London (Dulwich Blade) from 2000 to 2004 and a few of those look familiar from watching games. Musical looks very youthful. Any idea where Westminster Blade went? I'll never forget being picked up by Reading Police after travelling to a game with him. Long story

He wasnt a local lad, didnt take an interest in football until after he had left school and went to our home game against West Ham with a friend in October 1989. We lost 2-0 but he enjoyed the match and started to follow us, followed us even more when he joined the SUISA/Blades United forums despite living in the South.

Just checked and apparently the pub closed in 2011!!! So, yup, probably nearer 20 years ago.

Also used to post as Hunt Sab Blade and was very easy to wind up by telling him I was into country sports like hunting and shooting. I think I went a bit too far calling him Cunt Scab Blade but all was well in the end.

That was the last Bert ever saw or heard of him.
