We belong to the last generation who are unwilling to cede our hard-won freedom to the mind-control machine.

I haven’t had a single issue since switching my season ticket to my phone. It’s a piece of piss.

Near enough every year I had to walk round to the ticket office first game of the season because my card hadn’t been activated to let me into the stadium on the old cards. Missed several kick offs. There was always a queue of people with the same issue too. I must have had it 5 seasons on the bounce. Even stopped drinking a pint early in anticipation

After following them from 10 years of age and for 57 years from such unlikely places as Southey Green , Shirecliffe (when it was Atlas & Norfolk) , Caen , Birmingham , Limoges , Guildford , London , Solihull and various towns in Cheshire & Greater Manchester , I doubt my body can abandon such an obsession , even if my mind occasionally considers it
