Very good 2nd half. Just a shame the Blades threw 2 points away in injury time but happy with a point. WELL DONE BLADES great performance tonight

I'll be honest I'm a casual blade the past few years. I mostly watch Burton and Cambridge these days because of work, so I'm coming at this from minimum emotion or bias.

The referee decisions that go against the blades are so frequent and similar that its either because of the horrendous ref pipeline in the UK (I've been through it to level 7 and its shit) meaning they are just shite refs or; because there is intentional systematic forces that push for certain results, as I have seen 'the flow of decisions' go against probably every club in the lowest 6 or 7 apart from Everton, however it does seem particularly worse for united.

That being said, Wes is not a prem standard keeper and needs to be replaced ASAP. He has the match emotion and reading of a secondary school keeper.

Also please stop chucking McBurnie on, he only kills the game for our side. You'd be better putting literally anyone else on that can run and tell them to press and fall over for fouls

Can anyone point me to the rule change that says when an obvious foul on a goalkeeper is negated if the defence clears the ball upfield in a following phase?

Ex pro Carragher seemed to think thems the rules. As did his Co commentator.

As for manager Christopher Lee……

Wilder masterclass

Agree.....think we can say good bye to the thrashing we used to get under Hecky.

Something to build on.....very solid, almost stole 3 points but a draw was fair.

Also unfair to blame Fodderingham, he's a decent, average/ solid keeper.
If we're relegated he's good enough for next season, if we stay up we need to upgrade.
Also it's a team game....it's a key position, so he'll save us in some games.

Credit to sheffield united,
Would of taken a draw all day long.
Let's be honest! If it was us that equalised, we would be shouting from the roof top's, utb

Shame, a piece of football magic by united but lost out in the 97th min by poor defending
I got it at 5mins for 2 x var and goal celebration but a point at villa Park.is about right seeing as we couldn't string 3 passes together for the majority of the match. Upwards and onwards UTB
Well-deserved point in the end. But finding a new goalkeeper should be priority for Wilder in January. You can't compete in the Premier League with a GK like Wes.

Would’ve snatched your hand off for a point before kick off, does feel sore they scored in 97 mins but well played lads. Thought baldock was poor and Norwood was pointless being there tonight, brooks was good again, Bogle was good, thought larouci played well but his passing was poor, archer took his goal really well, hamer was tenacious and mcatee caused them problems. Great point that.

Brilliant performance that, gutted with the late equaliser but was a good ball in and good run from Zaniolo.

Great point and lots of positives to take from that. A few weeks ago it seemed impossible for us to even turn a game into a cup tie-like match. We're so much more organised and focused, but also realistic. We could have fielded a team that had more attacking quality. But it may have given Villa more room going forward and I bet they'd preferred that. Instead we were determined to make it a difficult game for them, and eventually started asking a few more questions. Very close to the upset of the season, and well done to Wilder and the lads.

Even Neville thinks it’s a goalkeeping error
