If we “go for it” against any team in the top half of the Premier League we will have our pants taken down and our bottoms severely spanked🥴

Better than hanging out under our own crossbar to be fair.

On a side note, anyone get the feeling that CW doesn't like Emery all that much..

United last won at Villa in the League in 1966, and we are winless in the 14 games played since. This is our current longest league game winless run against any team. We did of course win there in the FA Cup 10 seasons ago.

In addition:

We lost 16 straight league games at Villa between 1902-3 and 1921-22.

We won there in 1922-3, drew the next 3…and then lost the next 10.

Our record at Villa Park is wretched, and it ain’t improving on Friday.

He sounded like he tried his best not to compliment Emery. But Emery is a class act, so not sure why Wilder would dislike him.

Am planning on parking at Star City and walking it to Villa Park as only limited trains back to Walsall after the game.
Anyone parked at Star City before who could recommend?

Looks like an impossible task on paper but I wouldn't completely rule us out of getting something here.

Most seasons throw up some ridiculous results, our 1-2 win at Old Trafford in the 2020-21 season instantly springs to mind.

I seem to remember Everton beating Arsenal last season as well when Everton were bottom and Arsenal were top.

I have very little hope in this one. They are the leagues form team especially at home.
I'd be much more fancying us at City away than this one but who knows, football isn't ALWAYS straightforward.

It's going to be a big ask but lets see, hopefully we don't take a pasting. I mean hopefully we come away with a point or 3.

They'll proberbly get a shot trapped on the outside of the post in last minute and VAR award it!
