BBC is also quoting fee agreed at 18 mill euros. I would be very surprised if that's correct.

Letting your players leave for free is a terrible long and medium-term strategy.Again, that’s fantastic if we use the funds to bring permanent replacements in, otherwise it’s a very bad strategy short term and more importantly long term.
Good and very fair point, if he helped us to promotion though it would be worth more than whatever the fee is but that’s something we’ll never know.Letting your players leave for free is a terrible long and medium-term strategy.
From what I’ve been reading on here tonight, there will be many teams who will be much stronger than us,even without a ball being kicked. If you ever thought this was going to be a quick fix with the shite and antics we were witnessing last season and the previous season in the space of a few weeks, you are following the wrong team.Unfortunately in the 27 days before the window shuts we play 4 league games which is 12 points which could be the difference between play offs and automatic or even making the play offs.
You can get it online I got some for my wife last yearI used to love Angel Delight. Can you still buy it?
I would probably have traded an angel delight for our only remaining Centre Half, back in the day![]()
No. I'm in the this is a terrible idea/fantastic plan camp (delete in 6 months, as appropriate)Good and very fair point, if he helped us to promotion though it would be worth more than whatever the fee is but that’s something we’ll never know.
As I said further up, let’s see what happens with all the funds made available from these sales before we cast ourselves 100% in one camp or the other.
Fair. We won't know about the commitment of the owners until the transfer window closes.Good and very fair point, if he helped us to promotion though it would be worth more than whatever the fee is but that’s something we’ll never know.

Nearly every single squad in the country wishes they are shite enough to get 90+ points still talking nonsenseFrom what I’ve been reading on here tonight, there will be many teams who will be much stronger than us,even without a ball being kicked. And still failed.Nearly every single squad in the country wishes they are shite enough to get 90+ points still talking nonsense
Great post. There are a lot of times in the Championship this season chasing that ‘Golden Ticket’. I think a lot more will go ‘pop’ in next 2-3 years like Pigs. It’s a massive gamble to commit to big salaries for 2-3 seasons & fail to go up. As stated above - had we not gone up under Hecky - we may have ended up in League 1 by now in financial strife.Fair. We won't know about the commitment of the owners until the transfer window closes.
We took gambles last time with Hecky that would have put us in an extremely bad position had we not gone up. We were lucky then but it could have gone badly wrong. We can see what that looks like by looking towards S6. I don't care for gambling promotions I care about having a football club to support.
You are talking as if we were mid table nobodies which is ludicrous. With small tweaks that side can absolutely go againAnd still failed.
That sounds rank. Butterscotch or nowt.Passion fruit and mango flavour, Mmmmmmmm![]()
I don’t think that’s a foreign player thing. It’s a good player thing.I think this is a theme with foreign players making Championship moves. They sign their initial 3 to 4 year contract but the plan is not to sign another deal but use the club as a stepping stone to another.
Souza even if we got promoted was unlikely to renew I reckon.
Berge didn't renew.
Ndiaye didn't renew.
Anel didn't renew.
All had multiple contract offers made to them while here and promotion to the PL didn't change their stance.
I really don't think it's worth the risk. I'd rather live within our means and hope for a good run/season to go up with. Whether the current approach will work is another thing, but let's see.Great post. There are a lot of times in the Championship this season chasing that ‘Golden Ticket’. A lot of teams are weaker now than compared to last summer, look at Ipswich starting 11 now vs this time last season, they're weaker now.Our squad has changed considerably since last season
No BBD, Choudary, Anel, Souza, Moore, Brewster, Gilchrist, Rak Saki, Holding, Clarke.
Possibly another departure before window closes?
And an unknown manager
Absolutely we can rekindle to be a good side again, the basis is there apart from a lightweight back 4 and a lacking at present forward line. I like what Seles is doing and hope to see green shoots on Saturday. Did you enjoy the last season and a half under Wilder ?You are talking as if we were mid table nobodies which is ludicrous. I think this is more to do with the club not progressing in that time as much as anything elseI think this is a theme with foreign players making Championship moves.
