You certainly won’t get slated from me regards your view on McBurnnie. I said before we signed him that £20m was way way over what he was worth and so far I am not changing my view. Although Sharp has been banned, I would imagine he is a bit pissed off with his limited game time behind McBurnnie.

If not even his work rate is decent then CW wouldn’t let him near the place. I also said very good work rate.........certainly not great. There is no part of his game that is great.

If we are not playing the system to suit McBurnnie then why did we not spend £20m on a forward that does suit our system. Apart from a very good work rate, which is a given, he has not been great in all fairness.

Wilder is spot on My main issue with Hendo is he seems to believe all this ‘ legend of the club” talk. He is certainly no legend yet, and from Wilders comments he sounds as if he is getting pissed with the keepers mistakes.

If that was his best game I would hate to see his worst. He is no more than a work horse centre forward and that is what you get for £20m. But let’s not get any ideas he is any more than said work horse.

Maybe Norwood knows the Premier League is a level too high for him and that is why he has never stayed around at a club at this level.

Wilder on Radio Sheffield didn’t sound best pleased with a caller having a little dig at McG. That usually means that the player criticized usually starts next game. In this league Centre Forwards need to score goals. McG doesn’t score enough and never has all through his career.
