He said in a post match interview yesterday that he isn’t ready to quit yet & he’s hoping for another year with Doncaster. I’m not sure he’ll still cut it in L1, might be better going somewhere like Chesterfield for a year or two.
He could do a job as a back up in league one. He’s not a regular starter at the minute anyway.

I can’t imagine Donny will spend anything either.

That keeper was determined he wasn't going to be beaten at his near post wasn't he 😂😂😂
I know this is League 2 however not much difference in League 1 either but it goes to show the naivety and poor positional awareness of keepers further down the pyramid, you are giving a striker like Billy Sharp approximately 6 yards to shoot at, the shot wasn't the greatest but it was tucked where the keeper couldn't get anywhere near it. If he is stood a yard to his right, Billy has no chance!

It's crazy isn't it, positioning is the most important part of goalkeeping. Doesn't matter how good your reactions are if you're stood in the wrong place!!

Thing with him seems to be, the older he gets the harder he trains, so it offsets the loss of natural fitness to some extent. Seen him play for Donny a couple of times this season and he's an absolute unit now, no fat on him.

York City could be a good option
Or Rotherham.

He was there as a young lad.

Would be a poignant move to go there, get to 300+ and end on a promotion.

That being said, scoring in the last home game and then a hat-trick in the final game is up there with Stuart Broad taking a wicket with his final ball bowled and hitting a six with the final ball faced!

He had a 4th disallowed for offside and it was nowhere near offside. Terrible call.
Watch Sky highlights.
Billy deserved to finish on 300.

He should have easily been on 300 already tbh

He's not scored at a great rate the last couple of seasons

Then it's almost as if he scored 3 today because he simply decided to!

It would be funny (yet not even surprising) if he carried on playing and knocked in 15-20 next season
