Just looked back through the last 4 results:-

Coventry - 2-1 down when Jairo came on at 72. 2-1 final score.
QPR We won 2-0 - Jairo on for first 75.
WBA 1-0 up when Jairo went off at 72 - WBA scored at 83.
Norwich 1-0 up when Jairo went off at 64 - Norwich scored after 68 and 84.

We haven't conceded a single goal with him on the pitch in the last 4 games.

Even if he's completely knackered, surely it's worth trying to leave him on, as we're obviously pretty shit with whoever replaces him!

Fully understand the sentiment, but seeing as he was out for a lengthy period of time with a muscle injury I think it's probably not that wise to overdo it, we'd then get zero minutes of Jairo which at the moment doesn't bear thinking about.

There was a few long staring looks to Peck lastnight when the ball was given away cheaply after Giro had already recovered the ball.

Its what we have brought Phillips in for, to be the protector and rotate with him.

Just so happens he got himself a 3 match ban & picked up an injury.

I’m sure I saw somewhere we’ve only won 3 games all season that he didn’t start, and one of them was Wednesday so call that 2 and a half proper matches.

Edit. Just looked and that stat is probably out of date from before we beat Oxford and Pompey.

I'd imagine similar stats through his entire time here. Did he sign for the Wednesday game?

Edit. Signed a few weeks earlier when we were bottom with 3 points on the board.

He's been one of the better signings and gives us better balance when he's on the pitch
