He said he'd learned and he was a better manager. But when he's throwing Norwood on to close out games he's obviously learned nothing.
Exactly Camden. He did exactly the same v Bournemoith. When we r under the cosh why bring the slowest least mobile player on the bench on? Both times he should have brought Brooks on who can run and defend. Braindead and he just doesn't learn

Look at the bench and tell me his amazing options. Players were tiring he has limited choice & went for experience which most managers would in that situation.

Experience should tell him that sticking Norwood on to hold on to a lead is a bad idea.

Their final goal, when the ball was headed out, that's where Norwood should have been. Instead, he's marking no one in the box.

Players tired….brings on subs.
Subs not up to it….so who’s fault?

Keep the players on and it’s injury risk, errors and risk conceding.
Bring on what we have on the bench is the only option. And none of those subs improve the team, they make it worse.

Too many injuries and lack of stamina in the few players we have, and those we have aren’t good enough. It’s that simple.

It remains the summer business that is the creator of this shit show, added to then some shocking fitness levels and conditioning. Who’s responsible for that second bit is open to suggestion…might be lack of decent fitness coaches, might be poor application of players or a combination of both.

True. But what has Brooks done wrong?

He’s athletic and can run at least.

Norwood’s effort at a tackle was simply awful. Invited them to get back in it.

I still can't see any form of an identity, system or even patterns of play since he arrived apart from sit deep then launch it clear when we get the ball. That first half was dire. Apart from the counter attacks for our goals which were a combined 1 or 2 mins at best then we were pretty shit 2nd half as well. Just defending and hoping for the best seems to be our 'style' and every week it bites us on the arse.

Which is a Norwood issue. Wilder can’t physically move players on the pitch. Brooks wouldn’t have been the right choice. If you were a manager in that situation and you’ve got people tiring you’d turn to experience which he did.

Norwood is absolutely done at this level. No one would blame wilder for bringing brooks on over Norwood.
