Lundstram

Celtic and Rangers have the 3rd and 4th highest fanbase in Britain behind Man Utd and Liverpool.
The Scottish League is no competition though and possibly a weaker level than the Championship
Sligo Rovers a league of Ireland team managed to beat Motherwell in Europe , and knock them out ,
That’s it’s level
2 ok teams taking the left over scraps off the table

You can almost guarantee it.
McBurnie at Swansea looks a really good player.
McBurnie at Sheff Utd, sometimes plays so badly it's almost funny
Then he leaves and plays for another team and starts scoring again.

However if he stays with us you can imagine him doing a Ched Evans on us....no I don't mean doing time in prison.
I mean.....in the final year of his contract he finally starts delivering and looks a really good player.
So all our fans will be clamouring for our club to offer him a lucrative contract extension.
He signs it then turns crap again.
Last year of his contract now 🤔🤔🤔

Van Bronkhorst, the Rangers manager has just said on TV that the unexpected extra finances gained from qualifying to the Champions League might mean they can afford some new signings during this transfer window..

Hope Rangers don't start showing interest in Berge.
Your the type of guy who can find a problem for every solution.

well owls fans still brag about their european adventure when they beat powerhouse euro giants Spora Luxemborg
its up there with liverpool coming back from three down to ac milan in their eyes

Sure I read this week on Yorkshire Live or the Star that we have the option of another year extension for McBurnie. Whether we take that will obviously depend on how he does and what league we're in.

That explains why he's now running around like his life depends on it.
Missed some easy chances against Blackburn but his workrate was fantastic and he did cause their defence problems.

Funny how players in the final year of a contract often seem to re-discover their best form.
Also funny that when some players are given big pay rises or new contracts, then they tend to lose form.

Fair fucks to Lundstram imo. Not a huge believer in the "he downed tools" argument when 90% of our squad was useless that season. Didn't sign up for more because he thought there was something else out there for him. Perhaps didn't get the Prem move he may have overrated himself for but he's been a big part of Rangers' climb back up the totem pole in Europe.

I don’t think he downed tools either JP ,
I just don’t think he was good enough,
And our previous manager , should have done as his job description implies and dropped the fucker
Ramsdale on the other hand did down tools in my view and any respect I had for him went in that interview when he said so

Some of our fans talk absolute rubbish sometimes.Lundstram was an integral part of a side which got us to 9th in the Prem.
Of course he’s a good player, as is Flack and Norwood, who have also come under inexplicable and merciless attacks, especially after the Watford game.
There’s an old adage that if our managers listen to some of our slashers, it wouldn’t be long before they would be sat in the stands with them.
Here’s a thought, let’s consistently get behind our players, even when their form dips, or heaven forbid, we lose a game. You know, like fans are supposed to.

Found his level at Rangers, not saying he is a bad player but lets be right he is one idle arsed mutha, put the effort in at the lane for 6 months and tossed it off for the next 18 months to get his move. Didn't have the decency to play to the best of his ability happy to stay injury free and run down his very good contract rather than ask for a transfer so we could at least ask for a fee. To be fair I blame Wilder for keeping on playing the tosser any other manager would have smartened him up or put him to train with the kids. His total lack of effort probably is the reason he was not wanted by Premier league clubs leaving Rangers about the only option of a decent wage, easy life and a shot at Europe every season as a bonus.

What are you on about? Do you have memory loss? His attitude (least others looked bothered but werent good enough) and performances were disgraceful that second season. He performed well for 6 months out of a 3 year contract.

He's an average player that I'll never miss.

Just got drawn to play against Liverpool in the Champions League. Regardless of what we think of him that must be awesome for him as a Liverpool fan.

Bet when he left us no one in their right mind would have guessed Lunny would EVER be playing against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Those 2 matches home and away will give him memories he will treasure for the rest of his life.

Would you like to play against Sheffield United and try to knock them out of a cup?

Not exactly, but as someone who would never be good enough to play at bramall Lane i would love to play there in a big cup game. That's essentially what would be happening for him.

This should be interesting. Not watched it in full but skipping through it he mentions us quite a few times along with Wilder.
