Anyone know what sell-on clause (if any) we have? Rumours on Twitter that Stoke are after him.

Rumours Che Adams is off to Burnley, will we have a sell on clause?

Wait a second. Thats not how it fucking works. We ALWAYS accept the first offer for every player. I know its true, I read it on here.
This will change to "we always have a sell on clause but it just goes to the Prince and McCabe (sounds like it should be a 70's sequel with Warren Beatty and Julie Christie) to fund their court case".

An extra couple of million could fund another signing ,how many more loans can we have ?

Not sure if woodburn is still ours and not sure why Johnson is

Woodburn went a while ago. Hasn't been on the back of the program for a few games.

As you say though, I think Johnson should have gone with him, but maybe there's not much to choose from and Wilder doesn't think we could get anyone else.

Or maybe Johnson was a year long loan and Boro don’t want to recall him.

Nah. You can loan as many as you like but no more than 4 from one club and no more than 2 of the 4 can be over 23. Maximum is 5 in the matchday squad. Heres the rule for you:

54.4

The following restrictions shall apply to Temporary Loan Transfers:

54.4.1

A maximum of 5 Players registered on a Temporary Loan Transfer can be named in the Players listed on a team sheet for any individual match played under the auspices of The League. This maximum shall reduce to 4 Players where a Club names a Player on the team sheet who is registered on an Emergency Goalkeeper Loan;

54.4.2

No Club may sign more than 4 Players on a Temporary Loan Transfer from another Club (or club) in any Season, of which no more than 2 Players may be over the age of 23. The deadline for determining a Player’s age in this respect shall be as at the 30th June prior to the Season in which the Temporary Loan Transfer is intended to take place. Any Temporary Loan Transfer which subsequently becomes a permanent transfer shall not count against a Club’s quota of such Temporary Loan Transfers for that Season;

54.4.3

Temporary Loan Transfers may include an option to acquire the Player’s registration by way of permanent transfer. Subject to Regulation 54.4.4, any such option can be exercised at any time (including during a Closed Period); and

54.4.4

An option in a Temporary Loan Transfer that was registered during the Extended Period cannot be exercised prior to the opening of the next following Transfer Window.

Anyone else noticed that Burnley are planning to off load Sam Vokes for £9m to Stoke! Talk about wasting your parachute money! £9m on Sam Vokes now 29. He's had the odd season where he's scored goals but to me that seems over the top and Stoke would be better buying Che Adams if he's going for similar.

I guess when you're as cash rich as Stoke that you can afford to buy established players and hope that wins the day, but if it doesn't and they look like staying in this league for at least another season then they'll be screwed financially.

Imagine us being 12th, under pressure with FFP and rejecting a £12m bid for anybody?

That only adds to the annoyance with things like this because if it was us he'd be long gone.

He'd have gone for 4.5m and that would have been 1st bid, 4th bid at The Lane, it would get a blue plaque.

The annoyance is that we stay within the rules when others do not. The powers that be should enforce their rules with harsher penalties for none compliance.

If he keeps going Adams' sale will go a long way to fund next season's budget. If Brooks goes as well CW will have a competitive budget regardless of how the ownership squabble ends.
