Yeah but they decided not to shell out.

I'm transported back in time to a Saturday evening...

One could argue that any auction could be to pay for signings already made

Took the mickey out of his request and questioned at what point they should warm up. Said it was too early to do so. Not the attitude needed. His general approach and lack of enthusiasm shone through. Typified a guy on the list unwilling to get that changed. The contrast with Duffy was stark.
His example to the other players, and also sat v close to fans, is out of order.
Just my opinion but as we know this can spread in a squad and any like that should be gone asap in my book !
He is on the transfer list so probably doesn't see why he's there. He's most likely only playing to make up the numbers.

I suspect it's bull, but £3.5m for Che? If it's true we've robbed Newcastle blind #SUFC #TwitterBlades

There are multiple existing threads you could have put this utter shite in, but somehow I suspect you already know that.

Can't see it being anything but a load of shite despite Newcastle's mass wealth due to relegation.

The main logic behind my thinking is that is has been touted in local and national press that we value young Che at around £2m, therefore why would Newcastle table an extra 75% on top of our valuation? Unless some crazed bidding war was going on behind the scenes between several clubs but even in that case we would then significantly increase our valuation anyway.

IF (and it is a bloody long if because I think it is bullshizzle) we did get £3.5m for young Che then it would be ridiculous of us not to accept. I know we say it over and over again but should we take in that much money and SHOULD the board inject it directly into the transfer pot, then we would be laughing.
