Youngsters out on loan

Boyes started for Forest Green who got tonked by Derby. Neal played a full game for Barrow.

Osula getting just another cameo performance. Surely we need to think about sending him elsewhere in January?
I think we should recall Osula as we are a bit light up front.
Yes Billy is proving everyone wrong by continuing to play, and now he's off the mark...
McBurnie may not be fully fit for a couple of weeks and then he'll need to get back to where he left off. Not always easy as has been seen before.
Jebbison is coming back from injury and has yet to live up to his reputation.
Hackford is still 'waiting in the wings'!
Brewster out long term.
And that leaves a lot for Ndiaye to shoulder along with the hope and expectations for goals coming from elsewhere.
Maybe Louie Marsh, who looks like a young Billy Sharp, may get a chance!?

I just don't see Osula as being anywhere good enough. Ok for little bursts but the fact he's benched at Derby says it all really. Jebbo as well. Billy and McBurnie are the only two who can really run the line. Jebbo, maybe, but not seen it for us. Osula falls under Brewster, Ndiaye, Khadra as a support. I think if Sharp or McBurnie can't start we're probably screwed.

Not ours anymore but interesting to see Lankshear get on the pitch, albeit very briefly, for Spurs in their first team friendly with Nice tonight. Hopefully that means he's a step further on in his development that'll result in a tasty little windfall for United. He's continued to bang them in at youth level since moving on.

Boyes, Neal, Seriki and Broadbent all played full games. Brunt was a 76th minute sub but Dewhurst and Gordon didn't get off the bench.

Presumably because Forest Green are getting hammered and he won't be learning much, seems their rise faltered when Rob Edwards left for Watford.

Wonder if he'll go out again?
Maybe because there's interest from the Championship? At a guess Rotherham, or maybe a top end league One Club? Happened before with RND from Luton to Stoke. If Forest Green are not paying all of his wages maybe this is a factor and someone else is willing to, just a thought.

If Lowe is injured again, could Young provide cover? He's 21 and has played regularly in League One. Maybe time to see what he can do? If we want to make a few changes in the cup at Millwall, he could be in the squad.

Think it's obvious now that Lowe might miss a week or three meaning Boyesnis back for cover. Will likely go out again at the end of the month if we have no use for him.

But yeah, cup tied and can't go out on loan again if he plays a minute for us.

Apparently recalled Osula according to Alan Nixon
Just seen this mi sen. Odd one to say the least. Thought he'd been doing well. Unless a champ club is sniffing somewhere (Wigan or Hudds maybe) or we're planning on playing him ourselves it's a bit of an odd one.

Not odd if we ain't got no dow!, especially if Princey is spunkin it on Beerschott!!

Not been getting much time on the pitch and apparently Warne didn’t want him.

Probably a better move out there for him where he’ll be a regular starter.

I thought Warne was quite keen on him? He wanted him for Rotherham in the summer and also said he was worried that Osula and/or Dobbins would be recalled in January. Having two young, pacey and enthusiastic strikers on loan may not have been ideal for either player, as they've had to share their playing time. I've seen a couple of Osula's sub appearances and it's not been easy for him to get into games so late on. Often Derby have been ahead and not too interested in pushing forward. Overall I think he'll have learned a few things, but it may be better for him to find a club that will want to start him more often.

A shame about his suspension. He won't be available until Reading away. There are four U21 games before that, so I guess he may be appearing in some of those. Would be interesting to see him link up with Louie Marsh.

Apparently coveted him all summer...then hasn't played him when he's had chance. Beats me. Obviously needs to be playing more than 10-15 minutes every other week so recalling him makes sense.

He'd arguably get more minutes at Rotherham at the moment but suspect he'll head to a mid L1 side. Burton are rumoured and that wouldn't be the worst place for him albeit they've struggled a bit this year.

Also, as per Boyes, if he appears for us then he can't head out on loan again so very much doubt we'll use him unless absolutely necessary.
