He was by Danny Hall and Reubens first response was who?:D
Fair enough, wasn't sure if he was asked about him or not so just played it safe and put i didn't know if he was asked.

I'm aware that's the perception of my posts, but I try to call things as I see them.

If I'd been shown a highlights package of Seriki I'd be far more enthused.
In fact, I thought Jonjoe Kenny looked pretty good based on clips in Jan and I'd have definitely gone for Jimmy Dunne as a RB.

Aa for my views on the clips, I didn't see a player with a high technical ability. He went long under pressure and a lot of the receivers struggled to control his pass or were closed down quickly under pressure.
Not many clips of him in advanced areas.
Quite honestly, he looks similarish to Alfie Gilchrist who I didn't rate last season either (Seriki, Choudhury far better).

Appreciate it's a view formed on very little, which I referenced in the post.
I'm surprised we haven't tried to get Hamza to be honest. Not necessarily a starter every game but a decent and reliable option at RB and DCM. Seemed to enjoy his time here and a massive upgrade on Shackleton.

Big wage and Leicester will presumably be using him themselves.

You're probably right. I don't think Leicester have used him much for a couple of years so thought he might fancy a change. Hardly played for them last season before the loan and mainly on the bench the season before. No idea what wedge he's on.

Serbian media reported this week that United had “allocated €3 million” for Seol, with the possibility of an additional €1 million in bonuses. But The Star has been told that Red Star are keen to hold out for the buy-out figure contained in the player’s contract, which is said to be around £5 million.

It doesn’t say that

Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport described Seol recently as “irreplaceable,” saying: “The football rule for decades is that almost every player is for sale for the right price, whether the club is called Red Star, Manchester United or Spartak from Subotica, but there are also moments when someone is simply irreplaceable.
“Young-woo Seol is one of those, for this Red Star team. A player whose performance is sometimes not visible to the naked eye but who, like a soldier on guard, defends the right side of the field firmly. Just as in Poznan last night, for example ... when the Korean, as the only native in the defensive quartet, was one of the pillars of the solid Red Star defence.

“That's why Red Star hopes that no one will send an offer for him by the end of the summer transfer window! They hope at Marakana that they will somehow manage to ‘hide’ the Korean, who has a buyout clause in his contract of €5.5m
“If someone sends a cheque for that amount, Red Star will have its hands tied. And everything will depend only on the will of the Korean national team player, whether he wants to go or not.”

Sounds like they’re bigging him up so someone comes in with the release fee.

So that's about £4.8m in proper money (sterling) 😉.

Serious chunk of cash if we only have about £10m or less available in transfer budget.

Might be worth it though if we get this lad and the RB position nailed down, and then use the rest for maybe the Swedish prospect and maybe a couple of loans.

If we're allocating 4million Euros to a player who has a buyout of 3 million euros.

We are fucked. Math is shit.
That was a typo. Buyout is £5m according to Danny hall.
