Romaine Mundle( Sunderland)

Been thinking about options to add a bit of pace and direct running out wide, and Romaine Mundle from Sunderland feels like a smart shout. He’s struggled for minutes there, but he’s got the profile we’re missing — quick, positive on the ball, and can play both wings.

A loan with an option could suit all parties. Sunderland get him game time, we get a young, hungry winger who fits Wilder’s system, and he gets a proper platform to kick on.

Feels realistic and worth exploring.

Luke Chambers – Liverpool( Centre Back)

Another one I think is worth a look is Luke Chambers, 22‑year‑old centre‑back from Liverpool. He’s at the stage where he needs consistent senior minutes, and a loan to us would suit both sides.

Left‑footed, comfortable playing out, aggressive in duels, and can also cover left‑back if needed. He’s already had Championship experience and looks ready for a proper step up in responsibility. Fits Wilder’s system nicely — mobile, front‑foot defender who can slot into a back three or a four.

Feels like a realistic loan if Liverpool want him playing regularly, and he’d add depth + quality to our defensive options.

Veljko Milosavljević – Bournemouth( Centre back)

Another interesting one to keep an eye on is Veljko Milosavljević, the young Serbian Centre back. He’s highly rated for his technical ability, ball progression, and composure in tight areas. Still early in his development, but he plays with a maturity that stands out — tidy on the ball, good vision, and comfortable receiving under pressure.

If we’re looking to add a different profile in defence, someone who can link play and carry the ball through the thirds, he’s the type you’d take on loan and help mould. Would be a bit of a project, but the upside is there. Fits the idea of bringing in young, hungry players who can grow with us.

Give your other suggestions below, Thankyou⚔️

Why bother guessing ? Wait three weeks and you will have the answers.

Anis Mehmeti - could be the ideal Gus replacement, plays LM and CAM. Can't see him having much game time at Ipswich with Maeda, Clarke and Philogene ahead of him.

Eiran Cashin - Left footed centre back, would be an ideal back up, and likely to be available on loan

Trying to be realistic with what positions we need.

(LW/RW) Jack Clarke
(CAM) Harrison Armstrong
(CB) Liam Kitching/Bobby Thomas
(ST) Joel Piroe/Chuba Akpom

Not the most exciting names, but all of them are somewhat proven at Championship level and all probably would start for us.

Can’t see Bobby Thomas but swap him for Luke woolfenden and that’s a bit more realistic, I’d say gelhardt too and at a push Mcatee?

Ibrahim Osman (Brighton) and Dilane Bakwa (Forest). First name realistic second one ambitious but these two out wide on loan deals potentially and we’d have natural wingers with pace in the side.

Egeli could be an option from Ipswich as well as Akpom, Taylor, Mehmeti and Clarke

Akpom is going to see very little game time there, and would work very well with Bamford

Lewis Koumas (Liverpool) for LW (can also cover RW and ST). Enough Championship experience now to be a starter next season at this level. Talk that he could stay at Liverpool, but seems to me he needs another season at Championship.

Jamie Donley (Spurs). Similar profile to Gus. Incredible passing range and creativity, but maybe lacks a bit of pace. Could play similar role to Gus coming in off the left, but also can rotate as CAM with O'Hare. Again talk that he could stay there this season, but also was available for Oxford to buy for 4.5m. I wonder whether if funds do become available (sell Peck for a good fee, or miss and Souttar and go with a loan there), whether a permanent could be an option.
