Far too early to do a serious prediction.

Suspect we’ll not spend that much, so we’ll finish mid table ish.

However until I see the signings that Wilder makes and what other clubs do, then no idea really.
The other factor is that the high spenders, Villa, Boro, Derby and Pigs are close to or facing financial danger.
So these clubs might struggle next season if they are forced to sell off their best players.

No one will piss the league. I think it'll be much closer at the top, and a very open chase for the play offs.

Right now I'd have it something like this...

1. Aston Villa
2. Middlesbrough
3. West Brom
4. Stoke
5. Brentford
6. Sheffield United
7. Preston
8. Birmingham
9. Sheffield Wednesday
10. Millwall
11. Leeds
12. Nottingham Forest
13. Derby
14. Blackburn
15. Swansea
16. Norwich
17. Bristol City
18. Wigan
19. Hull
20. QPR
21. Reading
22. Ipswich
23. Bolton
24. Rotherham

The most boring automatic promotion duo of all time.

A play off place for us. Some 'Wilder out' fuckwits emerge as we fail to land the title.

Wednesday make incredible progress to finish 9th.

Ipswich fans pat themselves on the back for forcing McCarthy out.

Of course, this will all be miles off as these league predictions always are.

But when I'm looking at who to put in the top 6, after the top 3 or 4 there's absolutely nobody I have any confidence in. I really think it's there for us next season if we have a decent transfer window. Others will be thinking the same.
Decent prediction this, I think we will just miss out to be honest but could very well be wrong.

I think I will wait until I see what sort of squad we have before I make any predictions.

See who we bring in and as crucial who we lose

Too early to be predicting.
However some decent away days, hopefully will get to the majority that I haven’t been too yet

Think we will surprise a few and improve on last year. I'm going for 4th-6th this time around.

VILLA
BORO
WEST BROM
BLADES
STOKE
PIGS

UTB

Blades and Vanilla fighting it out for 1st and 2nd. Wendy 4th and Rovrum 9th. Brizzle n Leeds, Derby and Stoke filling the other play off positions (I hope ).

It is a bit early, but I do think West Brom will probably smash the league. Villa/Boro are shoe-ins for top 6. We should be around 5th/6th as long as we improve the squad properly and not go nuclear and sack Wilder in November. I think the rest of Yorkshire will struggle, and Bolton will almost certainly go down.

What is everybody predicting for the final league table, yes I know it’s early and I’ve posted a similar thread before.

1st Stoke
2nd Boro
3rd West Brom
4th Villa
5th Brentford
6th Preston
7th Bristol City
8th Brum
9th Sheffield United
10th Sheffield Wednesday
11th Wigan
12th Derby
13th Swansea
14th Norwich
15th Blackburn
16th Leeds
17th Millwall
18th Forest
19th Reading
20th Hull City
21st Ipswich
22nd QPR
23rd Bolton
24th Rotherham

Feel free to crucify me, interesting league this it could genuinely be anyone’s this year. Villa and West Brom could easily flip. PNE, Brentford and Bristol City might not continue their recent success either.

Thats good to see all the well wishing gone out of the window and Rotherham are bottom.

Top six will be West Brom,Villa,Leeds,Boro,Swansea,Stoke............................bleedin tuff league.

Fire sale coming at Villa. They are in the shit

Wide open for me

Obvious we will struggle next season. How do I know? Easy. It's all over Porktalk and they should know, cos they got it spot on last season dint they?

I'd say we could finish anywhere from 3rd to 24th. Complete unknown. We've got lots of players who may have hit their max last year and no idea on investment.

Same with Wednesday. They can't forget that at times last year they were the worst team in the league

I’ll push the boat out and say Ipswich will be mid table and have nothing to play for in the last 6 games. As usual.

They finished 12th last season and have been in the second tier since August 10th, 2002 (when it was Division One - our 'Triple Assault' season). How very tedious.

It's difficult to call it when we don't know which players will be representing these teams. There could be some significant changes yet. Most important of course is what type of player will the Blades sign? More lower league diamonds in the rough? or some quality players from higher divisions at home, or maybe from abroad? Until we know this then it's just about impossible to call it.

Parachute payments over for Villa now.

Can't see then keeping Terry on at his wages, can't see them keeping the likes of Adomah or Grealish either. They'll also have to get rid of one of their 5 10m+ strikers too.

I would wait and see if there is a fire sale at West Brom. Their books are fecked and ran at a loss in the premierleague last year. I don't think they are the shoe in you think they will be
The vultures are already circling for Rondon and Evans

I think that Boro will bore us to autos too. Doubt either us or Wednesday will be top 6, we just lack a bit of quality and maybe a centre midfielder. Wednesday rely heavily on forestieri and he will miss periods.
Handn't realised she was that old

You think it's more likely that we will finish 24th than 2nd? Bollocks I say.

Look I don’t know about the rest but I think you’ll find the top six will be:

1. Blades.
2. Middlesbrough.
3. West Brom.
4. Wednesday.
5. Leeds.
6. Bristol City.

I think the teams that have the same manager and squad to tinker with from last season are the dangerous ones.

I’m hopeful there will be a fire sale at West Brom, Swansea and Stoke... and Villa and Derby.

Fair enough lol

I think the range of outcomes is huge. I definitely don't think we'll go up automatically - so I suppose yes, I'd be more surprised if we finished 2nd than get relegated

I know there's some bad stuff about but what have you been smoking:D

I really couldn't guess what teams are gonna finish in what position?

Of course you can’t. Anyone suggesting that any particular team will walk away with the league before a ball has been kicked has little knowledge or experience of the game. Apart from the wealth distorted Premier League the only certainty in football is uncertainty.

I blame Junior Computer Manager...

we just lack a bit of quality and maybe a centre midfielder.

The season doesn’t start in May. That may or may not be the case in August. I’ve heard, for example, that Paul Coutts may be joining us. He’s not bad.
