At this stage if you put 24 balls in a bag and draw them out you have as much chance of getting the table right as you have by using any other method of calculation.

Enjoy the banter people but I'm out of this one until August :)

P.S. Apologies if thread ruined :shark:

Too early to predict really but if I have to narrow it down then I'm going blades somewhere between 1st and 24th

Parachute payments over for Villa now.

Can't see then keeping Terry on at his wages, can't see them keeping the likes of Adomah or Grealish either. They'll also have to get rid of one of their 5 10m+ strikers too.
Still got one more year yet unbelievably, along with Norwich.

Won 3 games in the prem in 15/16 and yet are still going to be getting about £16m off em in 18/19, madness

When you think about it parachute payments don't really make sense, if a team gets relegated then they shouldn't get money to boost them back up, it should be teams getting promoted getting foothold payments to help them with their lower budget and probably lower quality team, meaning they need to spend. In other words, give us money plz.

Swansea are my dark horse for 2nd as it looks like Graham Potter will be their new manager. I think Middlesboro will bore us all to 1st. I think United and Wednesday will be both be in the play offs too.

I'd expect United to finish in a similar position to this season, that is without significant investment. The element of surprise has now been lost, and the Blades are no longer underestimated, but hopefully Coutts' return will counterbalance that.
Wednesday are a top-six outfit on paper, but their inability to keep players fit means that the playoffs are very unlikely.
I don't see Leeds as top-six challengers either. The only time in recent seasons they've got close was with 30-goal Chris Wood up front.
Rotherham are in for a difficult season, and they need to sort the defence out to have any chance.

If Villa go into admin would a points deduction come into effect for the start of the 2018/19 season?
Hold the bets for now ;)

Norwich Lol

Most got the top wrong but quite a few predicted the bottom 3 although not necessarily in the right order. Ipswich surprisingly finishing bottom below Bolton and Millers

Before the season started I predicted that neither of the bookies favourites ( Stoke and Boro ) would do nearly as well as they and many others predicted .

Back in February on here my prediction for the top four was :-

1. Blades
2. Sister Shaggers
3. Dirties
4. Kipper Ties ( WBA )

Could still happen , but even if not , not bad for an old knowsnowt eh ? .;)

I can't believe this guy predicting the Grunters would finish bottom of the League; I'm sure he'll admit it was just wishful thinking. Us finishing top was odds-on though, but now we might just get pipped by Norwich.
