Some of the threads on here tonight are nothing short of fuckwitted cocky cunt bollocks. Love em don't you.

Cocky, or just confident?....bollocks or realistic?

I'm sick of sitting back watching my average to poor team stutter to the occasional win for almost 10 years, being realistic and admitting that we will struggle to achieve what we want. Sitting there expecting us to fuck it up anytime...bottling the big occasion.

Finally I have a good side to support, a side all commentators agree are a good side, a side all our opponents state are the best side in the league and a side I can see for myself are superior to our opponents.

So I am going to crow about it for once. Sue me.

I thought my OP was a reasonable assessment of our next fixtures which in my opinion are all winnable and a superb chance to put some real daylight between us and the chasing pack, sprinkled with a bit of reasonable optimism that we can win all three fixtures,

However I do apologise to you that if my thread was one of those that classify as being "fuckwitted cocky cunt bollocks". and I sincerely apologise for any offence that I have caused you.

If the cap fits.
Where have I named you?

Wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire mate so definately wouldn't waste the effort suing you.
Crack on.

I will flower thanks.

What a relief and weight off my mind. Was really concerned that if I ever had the misfortune to catch fire I would have to find you just to piss on me. Guess I can sleep easier now knowing I can use a more conventional method of fire extinguisher should such a misfortune befall me.
Plus it saves me seeing a middle aged angry man scrambling around trying to find his winky before dribbling out a little wee too.....bonus. Win win for me!

Yup, Bristol Rovers could be the toughest of the three. Of the last 7 home games they had won 6 on the trot before yesterday's draw with Bradford; which was only down to three stunning saves by Bradford's 'keeper.

I know they have lost Taylor but the lad Wyke they have got in from Carlisle looks decent. I'd honestly take a point now if offered.

It may be idiosyncratic of me, but I always prefer taking on a team that hasn't lost in seven rather than one that hasn't won in seven. I always think the longer a run goes on, the nearer it is to the end!

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about Charlie Wyke too much. I predict he'll have no influence on the game at all....

Tired of reading all this 'one game at a time' shite. Don't worry, that's exactly how Wilder and the team will be taking it. What we discuss on a forum doesn't make a difference.

If we do win the next 3 games, we will be as good as up. It really is quite a prospect. And a possibility.

It would be nice if the home support could wake up and push the team on because now is the time we could really cement our position at the top. We are absolutely in the thick of it now and the home support should reflect that.

That is probably the best post you have made so far on here.

Have a like

If I was not an atheist I would be praying every night that Moore does not get injured, I am coming to the conclusion only the appearence of George Long between the sticks can scupper us.

In fact The Scunny or Bolton manager may be taking their big centre forward or big centre Half to one side and asking him to put in "a robust challenge" on Moore at some point, it's something I would certainly not put past Parkinson to be thinking of.
As far as I understand, while there is no emergency loan window as in previous seasons, there is the option of an emergency goalkeeper loan. So if the unthinkable was to happen we actually would be able to bring a keeper in.

Maybe I have dreamt that?

Then we will be up to 72 points from 34 games.

A minimum of 8 points clear of Scunthorpe and a minimum of 12 points ahead of Bolton.

This will also mean that anything better than relegation form will be sufficient to take us up.

Bristol Rovers, Scunthorpe and Bolton will all be really tough games, but all three will know that they are about to meet the divisions outstanding side in prime form, and will be fearing us more than we fear them,

It is not make or break time for us as there is still plenty of games left this season for us to nail an automatic promotion slot, or for us to blow it, but we are now coming in to the three most vital league games in years, and I just have a feeling that this seasons version of Sheffield United are on the cusp of three outstanding victories that effectively storm clear and emerge from the chasing pack as runaway leaders

Totally agree Brownie. The only thing I would say, to try to temper all this optimism, is that I thought much the same in the lead up to Jan 21st and I actually was then beginning to think we would be champions. The next 2 games brought me back to earth with a bump.

To have an emergency loan keeper two of the professional keepers on the books must be unavailable either through injury (which has to be independently verified) or international call ups. And it's only on a seven day loan period at a time.

We could always sign a keeper who is out of contract somewhere of course, although the problem there is that there is usually a very good reason a keeper isn't wanted anywhere...Lee Baxter anyone?

We've had to endure some shocking and dire performances with no heart whatsoever over recent years so I for one am going to relish every twatting week of this season and nobody is going to tell me how to go about it.

I have, on more than a couple of occasions expressed my disappointment on those displays on here so it's only right I shift the balance in the other direction while I see fit too. I haven't forgot some of those things that happened but this season is sure as hell going along way to getting rid of some of those memories.

In short, let's enjoy this moment, they are very few and far between.
