Not if you have a history of ejaculating in your underpants before you get to the bedbut we dont have to
thats the difference
anticipation is the best bit of being a fan
weve stopped enjoying this VITAL component
to only enjoy going up when its only mathematically confirmed is like joining in a threesome with 2 girls who have just worn each other out, a bit of fun but missed a whole lot more
No we haven't. Like many I am keeping the braggy/we are up stuff off here. That dosen't mean I'm not ecstatic anout how well we have done and are doing. just that we haven't actually achieved FUCK ALL yet.
Watch me celebrate and gob off IF we do at full time after game 46.
It's okay to hint about player discord and shitty rumours but not be openly excited about promotion?
What promotion? Is the season over? Did we do it. Fucking A .
Anyone heard about... that thing... y'know... things aren't right... but well... it's why we're struggling... can't say what it is obviously.
Heard something which made sense and wondered if anyone else had. Due to its nature I wasn't going to enlarge unless it was obvious others had heard same. They hadn't so I didnt.
Since when were you elected to the role of fuck all on here.
I dontThen we will be up to 72 points from 34 games.
A minimum of 8 points clear of Scunthorpe and a minimum of 12 points ahead of Bolton.
This will also mean that anything better than relegation form will be sufficient to take us up.
Bristol Rovers, Scunthorpe and Bolton will all be really tough games, but all three will know that they are about to meet the divisions outstanding side in prime form, and will be fearing us more than we fear them,
It is not make or break time for us as there is still plenty of games left this season for us to nail an automatic promotion slot, or for us to blow it, but we are now coming in to the three most vital league games in years, and I just have a feeling that this seasons version of Sheffield United are on the cusp of three outstanding victories that effectively storm clear and emerge from the chasing pack as runaway leaders
Personally, I'm enjoying each game at a time because it's great to watch and enjoy. Bristol Rovers next up. Thinking what might happen in 3 games time is a waste of energy for me.but we dont have to

and two shit results in the next 3 games we put pressure on ourselves....What I love about this weekends resukts is that it puts the pressure ALL on Scunthorpe and Bolton. They HAVE to come to Bramall Lane to try and win, and I think this will play right into our hands.
Good that Bristol Rovers are being grouped in with the other 2 in this vital sequence of games coming up. Because they've got a very good home record - 6th best in the division, & no-one's scored more than them at home bar Scunthorpe. Really tough place to go.
But Scunthorpe & Bolton are proper "statement time" games. We can't afford to wilt like a limp lettuce leaf like we did against Fleetwood. Pressure.
Bolton have also got Scunny away in AprilWhat is of further interest if you look at Boltons games.
They play at home on Tuesday v Rochdale, after that they will have played 17 at home and only 13 away !
They already have to play us at our place, but to have to play 4 away games to become parity at home and away with games it would take a tremendous effort to catch us, or even get anywhere near us.
Put them to bed in 2 weeks and we could have a lovely time during March and April - it's ours to lose..........
UTB
Tired of reading all this 'one game at a time' shite. Don't worry, that's exactly how Wilder and the team will be taking it. What we discuss on a forum doesn't make a difference.
It would be nice if the home support could wake up and push the team on because now is the time we could really cement our position at the top. We are absolutely in the thick of it now and the home support should reflect that.
Can't you see the contradiction with your two paragraphs? If we all start thinking we are up and then we lose a game, suddenly the atmosphere turns nasty again. That is how what we discuss on here can affect things, we turn up expecting to roll everyone over. If it doesn't happen, the mood goes sour.
This is a season to savour and enjoy each game. Don't get hung up on the end game, just enjoy each match at BDTBL and back the lads game by game. The end conclusion to the season will then sort itself out.
There is a reason that 'taking one game at a time' is uttered by so many managers. Like any cliche, there is more than element of truth to it.
The very thought! Horrible! But could happen :-(Shudder!!
Don't...just.... Dont!
No. I can't see the contradiction.
This forum isn't the entire fanbase.
We don't expect to roll everybody over. There's a difference between that and being confident of promotion.
Positivity going into the game would only create a better atmosphere. Being negative and nervous would only create a worse atmosphere - it's even been used as an excuse on here!
The atmosphere hasn't been remotely nasty once this season and won't be at any point.
What we say on here has very little affect on the atmosphere and zero affect on the players and staff.
Yup, Bristol Rovers could be the toughest of the three. Of the last 7 home games they had won 6 on the trot before yesterday's draw with Bradford; which was only down to three stunning saves by Bradford's 'keeper.
I know they have lost Taylor but the lad Wyke they have got in from Carlisle looks decent. I'd honestly take a point now if offered.
Erm. Wyke plays for Bradford
... and wasn't it the Birzzle keeper that made the saves?
You been upside down, again, BP?
That or on the shrooms
Hahahaha I've had a mare here ken. Wyke went to Bradford didn't he to replace a striker they sold. Forget who now
I based my excellent punditry on one pissed up viewing of the goals express so I'm taking a mulligan.
No more serious posts. I'm going back to abusing William Henry Foulkes and nob jokes![]()
It's the lack of carbs.
God there are some overly serious folk on here.
One minute saying this is a forum and you can say what you like, then getting all pissy because folk are saying they think we will go up.
So it would be ok to have an opinion on every other team in the league other than our own?...and Yes....we ALL know that the manager and players will be putting out all the cliches about one game at a time, and being professional blah blah blah. So they should, it's their job to get the club promotion, not ours as fans.
So, if anyone wants to say that in their opinion we will go up....then crack on.
For the record....I have been saying we will go up as champions since November. Because having seen most of the rest play this season, seen teams from previous seasons and seen how MY team were playing THIS season I felt we were the strongest side, playing the best football with the best Midfield bar none. And Midfield is where the game is won or lost.
So instead of the next 3....I will say over the next 15 we will win at least 8 of them. And from the next 15, no other team will win more games than us. So we will go up. Don't care if it's 90 odd points....as that won't be needed IMHO.
Some of the threads on here tonight are nothing short of fuckwitted cocky cunt bollocks. Love em don't you.
