At least he’s naming lots of subs on the bench so le lost that mardiness he had.Not sure myself. Wilder seems to have lost his mojo and bottle.

You've changed ya tune. I slagged him off a few months back and got accused of being a Wednesday fanHaha. You'd think so given how clappy I am. wouldn't you, but that was the straw that broke the camels back. If Wilder has a spine he needs to apologise, because if im reacting like this it's gone very wrong. I can probably accept it if he apologises, but if he tries to justify that then he can go for me. He's basically given up if we can't go for a win against bloody Fulham. I don't want a man with that kind of mindset in charge.
I am sure you are correct in that no one could keep this team up.I’m not defending Wilder but I will still call shit like this out. Nobody has the tools to keep us in the premier league as it stands stop talking bollocks. Call the manager out for tonight’s team selection etc but no other manager could have taken this group of players and kept them up.
Yep this sums it for me. Those players would make a difference. It was clear after 5 mi s that Fulhams back four were comfortable with McB and Sharp. The game was crying out for Burkes pace. If those players are carrying knocks then let us know. Its a lack of motivation by Wilder when you leave didsy, Bogle and Burke on the bench, and decide to sit back and hoof it to McBurnie when playing that way has proved hopeless in the past.
The team. must have seen that line up tonight and lost any motivation they may have had.
Ffs it was Fulham. not citeh!
A minor question but perhaps an important one when considering our season to date...When you say replicating the results...Are you talking about physical constants? Ie Physical quantities that are believed to be both universal in nature and have constant value in time or are you contrasting with Mathematical constants, which have a fixed numerical constant but do not directly involve any physical measurement?I keep saying this on other threads, so I apologise for the repetition, but he simply cannot admit the system is at any fault.
He received the fulsome praise of Bielsa and Guardiola for it. The admiration of a galaxy of European football technocrats.
This is the football equivalent of a scientist winning the nobel prize for physics and then finding out he can no longer replicate the results. However....

Haha I'm not saying they're the answer at all, but he signed them. Surely if they're not injured they should be involved in some way during an injury crisis.O
ffs if Rodwell & Robinson are the answer what’s the f***ing question
This, that is the extent of his ambition. He’ll fuck off as soon as the “worst ever” tag is gone- wankerI mean devil's advocate, perhaps just wanted to get to 12 points?
Fulham have not done the double over usNever had a word against wilder, but Fulham do the double over us, have we had a shot tonight??
Fulham have not done the double over us
It’s not my job to sort it out. The point is if you’re going to pick that tribute act of a starting 11 and yet again sneer at fans because us plebs might question it, don’t be surprised to get grief when said 11 don’t touch the ball in the opposition box once in the first half.I’d say, ‘ what would you do’ why don’t you tell us all how you would sort it out.
Burke and Bogle could at least be tried. Brewster could be tried. Anything better than hump it to McBurnie and watch him fail to connect with Sharp again.I understand the frustrations about the system but the fact is that we don't have the players, even when everyone is fully fit, to play anything other than 3-5-2.
We have no genuine wingers, maybe Burke but I wouldn't want him in front of a full back with defensive responsibilities. The other possible one was Robinson but he's gone. Bogle maybe but even then it's a square peg in a round hole.
If we're going to see a change in system it's going to be pre season based on our transfer activity. The signings we make will tell you exactly how we're planning on setting up next season
What baffles me is we go to Old Trafford and have a right go, and dare I say even looked good in possession at times.
What the hell was that all about at Fulham?
Fulham were shocking tonight even if they had one or two players better on the ball than ours, Lookman for example!
Nonetheless they are a team that is definitely going down with us yet we turn up at their place and show them the respect as if we were playing the Spanish national team or somert!
Wilder got it massively wrong tonight, why play Sharp who’s a goal poacher around the six yard box in a team that went to deliberately allow Fulham total possession????
He should have gone with our clever players and gone toe to toe with a very average, sorry shite Fulham team!
The thinking on this one by our very able manager falls embarrassingly short tonight.
Fulham may well be average but they are certainly not shite, they have taken more points since boxing day than we have taken all season, they have kept more clean sheets in a week than we kept in our last 28 games , they have managed to close the gap between themselves and safety quite significantly, they have given themselves a fighting chance to stay upWhat baffles me is we go to Old Trafford and have a right go, and dare I say even looked good in possession at times.

Yep, they have done what we failed to do. Which one's and how?Never said that but other managers would do a lot better
You might get more joy out of the Phoenix currently mate.Yep this sums it for me. Those players would make a difference. Very very low today. Don Hutchison was commentating over here in NZ and he said we looked a beaten team after 20mins. Sadly he was right.
I still want Wilder here, but want to see that "we're here fuck you" attitude he used to have. Otherwise he is not even as good as Warnock when setting up for draws. Especially when rooted to the bottom.
I am trying to remain positive........its hard though.
Get all that but if we go with let's say 4-4-2 we then go with a midfield two out of fleck/lundstram/Norwood which would get absolutely mullered in this league. They’ve barely got the athleticism to play in a 3 let alone a 2.Burke and Bogle could at least be tried. Brewster could be tried. Anything better than hump it to McBurnie and watch him fail to connect with Sharp again.
Anyone, seriously, anyone. I’d give Paul Tisdale a chance in the Championship. He is a believer in proper football and has never had a penny to spend. If you’re suggesting, after the last 12 months, that Wilder deserves to stay, at what point would you sack him then?Which one's and how?![]()

My question wasn't aimed at you mate. And neverAnyone, seriously, anyone. I’d give Paul Tisdale a chance in the Championship. He is a believer in proper football and has never had a penny to spend. I agree that we’ve seen some great football but it is an ever changing game. My issue is that CW doesn’t have the skill to work out a new winning formula now that his old one has been sussed. The PL is like Formula One, adapt and innovate every year or get left behind. He’s given us some great memories but he’s found his level. No shame in that, there have been many like him before (Warnock for one) but he’s just not good enough. My question wasn't aimed at you mate. And never.
I think we've seen plenty of proper football the last few seasons, albeit a tad myopic at times.
Its Wilders mentality this season that I can't get my head around. Last season he was a breath of fresh air for a manager of a relatively small premier league club trumpeting that we wont be bullied by the big boys, and that well always "have a go". This season is a totally different mindset...Why..? Is it because of losing Jack O'Connell and knew we would ship goals..? But results aside, it's this that has disappointed me the most.True...the down turn is weird and alarming.
However to be honest with covid it's been a weird season for everyone.
Chris hasn't even had a proper pre-season to prepare properly.
Appreciate other teams in the PL haven't had time to prepare but all things being equal the higher quality squads will do better.
