I refuse to believe that all is suddenly hunky dory at Sunderland now they've been taken over and that they're now some great opportunity in English football.
Besides the fact that all new owners are 'ambitious' and come with 'big investment' (plenty of times to no avail), don't they have a lot of average players on high-money contracts to sort out? That can't be an easy web to untangle.
If Wilder was to go up there, to me it'd be an indication of how bad things are here rather than how great things are going to be at Sunderland.
"Unsurprisingly, the market has been moving and now Wilder, who worked with Donald at Oxford".
The last three words should help quell any rumours about Wilder going to Sunderland.
Chris mentioned Oxford in his weekend radio interview, saying "i went thru/i had... this at Oxford" seems like it left a bad taste in Wilders gob.
I think if there was any truth in the rumours then wit wouldn’t be commenting
No it doesn’t.Looks like he's off unfortunately

Not happy about this...
To be fair that could be why he's looking to jump ship. He's at risk of ruining his cult status before next season, even if he stays.

If he's got an advisor or PR guy he'd be well placed to tell him to shut his mouth.
Warnock's Portsmouth debacle would've seen him crucified in this day and age on here - why should Wilder be any different?
To be fair he's the one driving it! I haven't heard many fans question him at all, he's basically got a free hit here until it all goes VERY tits up.To be fair that could be why he's looking to jump ship.
Nevertheless it would be a very risky career move in my opinion.

BACK YOUR MANAGER.
I've been working on it since mid pril Fulwood. See 4 threads I've revived this past hour.
Fans letter via this forum.
Why should we back him when he's not backing us, the fans? He's basically laying out a 'comeandgetme' plea to Stuart Donald in front of our faces.
