Almost like the old days of "view from" when we had Kitson.

However

Frankly my dear I don't give a Damm :)

We all know we are pretty rubbish but reading their comments you would think they're world beaters. I didn't think much to them either and I didn't think there was that much difference between the two teams. Yeah, we were lucky with the ref decisions today (for once), but its not as if they gave us some kind of battering and deserved all 3 points.

Oh, but one of their bellends thinks they taught us "a footballing lesson today".

And another thing, I've often said that to satisfy the saying, "He needs one to go in off his arse," a player needs to fully qualify by a) needing one to go in off his arse, and b) actually having one go in off his arse.

I'm not sure how Billy got that one over the line today, but I suspect it was the closest yet to the Perfect In Off The Arse When Needed goal.

Just off topic, do we know if anyone else has had the nous to do what Roy does anywhere else?

I recall one poster from another club on BM saying how sad it was. When someone pointed out how interesting it is to read oppposing fans' opinions on the game, they shut up very quickly.

Loving the irony of people from Coventry (aka Concrete Central) calling Sheffield a shit-hole!

A draw may have been a fair result but a Coventry win would have been a travesty. If that was them on a good day I'd hate to see them on a bad one.

The worst part of it is that after they lost to a terrible United team having 'taught us a footballing lesson' they have to go back to Coventry, the arsehole of England.

And they've got a shit cathedral.

Said the same, he needed one to go in off his arse.

It was his shoulder as he turned away. Laughed my fucking arse off.

And congratulations to Billy on his new born as well, that will be a worry off his shoulders.

Three shit cathedrals.

Perhaps I'm a wee bit biased... but I thought we were fairly solid today with a few unforced errors. And I saw them pass about a bit with next to know penetration.

Good to get the win but I wouldn't get too ahead of ourselves.

Not least to escape an embarrassment when we lose at their place.

They'll be finishing above us no problem.

Haven't you got cocks to suck somewhere?
I look towards the left, an avatar showing men with their cocks out.

I look up, I see a post talking about irony.

I look towards the centre, I see a post, from that same poster, saying "Haven't you got cocks to suck somewhere?"

My irony meter is bordering on zero gravity...

That's a 'yes' then.

Just how annoyed were you Barney that we won today? It was a lovely touch that the win was dedicated to Hodgy and Martyn Harrison in the post match interview, and fitting tributes of wreaths being laid by the kop goal by Currie and Ted Hemsley.

How different and distasteful it would have been had the fans stayed away or made a protest against the club as you suggested. Instead despite an early kickoff and being on TV over 18,000 Blades turned up on a cold December day.

I'm pleased you stayed away. Stay away more often, and don't come back! :)

I'm on the kop, so perspective and a hip flask of "Pussers Rum" might alter my perspective, but it looked like it wasn't even close

It looked in at the time and having seen the reply you're right about it not being close.
It was clearly a goal.

Why do you keep linking the thread on protests with the tributes? Nobody else has done it, and it's rather strange.

To say that a statement, generally speaking, asking for protests at more of the league games automatically means I'm not in support of a tribute going on in one of those league games is unbelievable.
