I hope the post-game view from is a bit more balanced. We could have been well on top by half time, thought we matched them in most areas and played some really good stuff, but we were wasteful in front of goal. They got a lot of what looked like good fortune...we had 10 shots blocked in the first 45 and while I'm admittedly biased, it did feel like every random bounce or ricochet of someone's leg dropped SO kindly for them. That's just the luck you get when you're top of the league I suppose.

If you were neutral, that was probably a cracking match to watch. Could easily have been 4-4 or 5-4 either way with some better finishing from both sides.

No View From unfortunately as it's taken me ages to get home and I'm working tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, if we'd won I'd have stayed up to do it but it feels a good way to use my final free hit of the season. I give myself 3 free hits a season and I've missed 5 this season but I was on holiday for 2 of them so they dont count. The 3 I've purposely missed are Ipswich, Southampton and Coventry. No idea why I'm telling you this to be honest

Disappointing

Can any of the Cov wierdos on here explain a few things please?

  1. What's the "Callum O'Hare, it could have been you" chant all about?
  2. Why do you hate a player that saw his contract out in full (O'Hare), i.e. seeing out what was given to him, but love a player that left you mid contract (Hamer)?
    • What's the difference?

The difference is £15 million ,( which you haven paid yet by the way)

Can you enlighten me to how you know the money hasn't been paid?

And by that logic, if O'Hare had left in January for say, £4m, you'd then be OK with that?

Brewster and McBurnie cost us ~£40m, they both ran their contracts down and left for free. I don't understand the anger towards players who see out their contract

Now I'd like to see a View From just to see what their view would be on you not having done a View From.

It's a bit silly really but it comes down to the fact O'Hare left on a free by not signing a contract. Had he moved to Sheffield United for £5m, people would have been clapping him.

Hamer made us £15m+ and is the reason we are top of the league paying for players such as Torp, Rudoni and Mason-Clarke.
