I've watched Coventry a couple of times this season. They are everything that we are not.

They are so aggressive and physically fit and they close down (press) so quickly both individually and as a collective unit that most sides cannot get to move the ball fast enough to outmanouvre them to make progress going forward.

They also counter (transition)at breakneck speed and often so rapidly that opponents get caught out and cant recover defensively.

I fear we wont be fit enough or aggressive enough to compete in this game.

Hope I'm wrong of course.
You didn't watch them against Wrexham then?

Could have been worse he didn't say the fans were all tossers! 🤣.

A bit rich though isn't it, when your manager is that slimy fucking toad Lampard.

Talk about opposites. Wilder and his passion for ale, and northern birds who can take a bottle top off with their teeth.

Lampard. He probably stands in his massive apartment in Kensington, and for laughs,🙂↕️ throws a few ten pound notes out of his window to the peasants in the street below!

🤣😬😉

We ain’t winning this one. Our chance to show some fight post Preston was on Saturday v Derby and we fizzled out like a cheap firework.

Coventry are battering teams but they only need to score one, which they will, and that will be enough.

I think a lot of the recent hate, is due to recent years.

They saw Hamer come to us and living locally, saw it as very much being a sidewards step and that he was deserving of bigger things. They were offended that he left for us. That season we were relegation fodder after all.

Then, they rehabilitated O'Hare after a serious and lengthy lay off and he left at the earliest opportunity, again to join us.

They consider themselves a bigger club than United and are offended that two of their recent brightest talents left to join the Lane.

No I didn't and obviously they found a way to counter what CC do to most teams.

Very few sides have been able to achieve that so far this season.

Just wish we could play in a faster, more physical, aggressive way.

Why the hatred from someof them? Them again it is a place where people are so thick if Benny from Crossroads moved there, the average IQ of its population would double.

Hamer still spends half his time in Leamington.

Totally wrong. Hamer was a big loss. O'Hare was replaced with a much better player in Rudoni.

For the real truth which many choose to ignore we were in the same position as Wednesday. We were demonstrating every game and not caring about results. We got a lot of sympathy off everyone except from 1 club. In that game we gave them the win because of our demonstrating and they still bring it up now with all types of comments. We recently had the racist problems with Wednesday but when they demonstrated against us they had our full support and joined in with their supporters. We were also happy about the pitch invasion as our players were safe.

You're nowhere near the position we were in but when things start to go wrong you're on a very slippery slope and I hope it doesn't happen to you.

I'm purely going on the views of my Cov ST holder mates at the time, and a few from in and around singers' corner. No view could ever represent the entirety of the fan base but there is at least some truth in it.

O'Hare has been replaced by a very different type of player but a quality a player in Rudoni. But he was a loss at the time, he was a big part of your press. Otherwise why go to such effort to boo him on his return? He's a good player, as is being seen this season, despite how dire we've been.

FWIW, I didn't agree with how some of our lot reacted to the protests. They were no skin off our nose at the time and a club's fans reserve the right to cause a spectacle when you were in the mire as much as you were. (I'd still scoff at the Pigs, mind - they can go bust for all I care 😉😆)

I have a question. Why do so many of you midlands mongs spend time signing up to other clubs forums to gloat about how much of a bigger club you are rather than just celebrate the fact you’re probably going to get promoted? I assume the lack of employment in Coventry plays a factor in this?
