When you look at his time at Stoke it's bits here and there start of 20/21 season he had scored 7 and 5 assist by the start of December but then received a season ending knee injury. It's always been like that, If it walks as much as he can talk a good game he will push on but fans get frustrated when a player says he loves to be at the club and the "gaffer" and fans are great etc but then doesn't put the effort in on the pitch. He has said his bit so now the talking on the pitch and hope he can have a productive season.

It's a good move, still a good age, we all know on his day he is a match winner, if we got rid it would cost over £5m to get a replacement with the same ability, he just needs to get fitter

Good player and good finisher.

If were wanting to press from the front more then he needs a different kind of fitness than previously which I presume thats what he's working on with the fitness team .

He'll get closer to what we need , might only be for 60 minutes a match before he's knackered but either as a starter or finisher thats all we need.

Rotating the strikers us going to be a big part if the season .

Well worth another year even if its leverage to move him on next summer .
