I’ve been banging the drum for this lad for about a year now, really caught my eye at Cardiff last year. Energetic. Box to box. Fiesty and good on the ball. He’s captained City at u23 too which bodes well when you see some of the quality they’ve had in that side in the last few years.

If we can get Hannibal Mejbri from Man Utd on loan too to play further forward then this would be us using the loan market in a way I’d approve of.

Was a pivotal part of Cardiff team during his time with them last season. Always expected a team challenging for promotion to sign him on loan next. Pleasantly surprised that we are the ones that are signing him.

Very good addition. Does everything a holding midfielder like Norwood can do, but also has the mobility & dribbling qualities to go past players and create. Really good on set-pieces. Did well 2nd half of last season at Cardiff but I expect this to be his proper breakthrough season. Captained Man City's U23s so must be a solid pro.
