It’s a rumour. Nobody knows whether an offer has even been made.If we've rejected 4m and don't end up selling for similar or more then we deserve everything coming to us

True, but if we wish it enough it'll come true #ITKIt’s a rumour. Nobody knows whether an offer has even been made.
"Very clearly" ???Except he has shown talent, very clearly. Stoke played to his strengths and he was scoring.
I'll point out to you that Sharp didn't do well here at first, neither did McBurnie or a variety of other players that have since gone on to progress incredibly well. There's very clearly a player in there, we just don't use him well
How often did you see him at Stoke?"Very clearly" ???
I saw him at Stoke and Preston and he looked absolutely average.
Not many but I know a turd on first sight, don't need to keep sniffing it.How often did you see him at Stoke?
Outside the four goals against Portsmouth, what did he show? What attributes/ability did he show?Except he has shown talent, very clearly. Stoke played to his strengths and he was scoring.

I'll bow to your superior knowledge then, as I only watched 90% if not all of his Stoke gamesNot many but I know a turd on first sight, don't need to keep sniffing it.
The team at the time played genuine, front foot football. Wingers like Manhoeff running at players, balls towards the CBs for players like Cannon to run onto from Baker (who played a similar role to Norwood).Outside the four goals against Portsmouth, what did he show? What attributes/ability did he show?
Genuine question there Nerdy.. Cause I must be legally blind if folk are seeing any semblance of a footballer.
Thank you.I'll bow to your superior knowledge then, as I only watched 90% if not all of his Stoke games
He stretches my fucking patience…According to Nixon... Dont think Wilder will sanction this unless he gets his bully of a number 9 he wants in. Cannon stretches the game .. apparently..

I’ve watched him 6/7 times this season.
I just like watching football. When we’re not on I watch whatever is available. Usually take an interest in ex players or players we’ve been linked with so watched Stoke a bit on the red button / dodgy stick.
They’re truly terrible which is baffling for the amount of investment and some of the players they’ve had over recent years but they’re turd.
Regarding Cannon. He’s a good finisher. Has a nice touch and has a trait where he likes to get a shot off early - complete opposite of Moore at times who gets closed down before pulling the trigger.
I personally think he’s way too passive to be worth £13 million. He doesn’t seem to have any outstanding attributes. He’s not big, not dominant, not particularly strong and is not blessed with loads of pace.
When Stoke played Wednesday, Wednesdays went down to 10 men and Stoke weee just crying out for a couple of player to step up and take the game by the scruff of the neck. The Wednesday defence looked a literal bombscare with the ball anywhere near them. They just needed to press and press hard. They were all beyond passive it was so frustrating to watch and they ended up losing 2-0. Cannon did not lead the line well that day at all. It’s been a similar story in most of the other games I’ve seen him in too. If he’s getting service he looks pretty sharp. He doesn’t create anything for himself and his hold up play is not brilliant.
For £13m I wanted someone in who was head and shoulders better than what’s here already. An absolute cert to start. As it stands I think he and Campbell will offer very similar numbers between now and the end of the season. Just one was free and one looks like costing £13m
Had a good read of the Stoke forum thread on him - back before there was any sign of a recall and their views were very varied. Some didn’t think he worked hard enough or influenced games enough and some thought he was their best striker in years.
Ecstatic to be proven wrong and he’ll have my 100% backing should he sign. It’s also great to get a statement signing in during the window and potentially beat a promotion rival to someone’s signature. That’s not a scenario we blades have enjoyed all that many times in our recent history.
Ego. Selling Cannon for £5m is admitting he got it wrong and Wilder is never wrong. He’s an idiot. Unless he’s planning for L1.
I watch him all the time like I did Brewster. But I just find it weird after a win people's first thoughts are get on the forum and dig a player out. I must have a different outlook to some fans eh?I beg you to watch him and only him for any 10 minute spell. His weakness and lack of positional sense is so poor. Why do we have to watch someone give so many awful displays and almost feel guilty about mentioning it on the forum![]()
It’s probably the same as Leicester and Martin saying that Souttar isn’t for sale. Let’s us retain the strong hand.
Well, I hope it is. Wilder Mk1 made some poor signings but he had a real ruthless streak with them. Hussey, Holmes etc - was clear they weren’t good enough and it didn’t matter that they were his signings they were out. He needs to get over this stubborn phase and find that ruthless streak again.
Cannon might be alright in a team set up around creating chances for him. Hes never going to create anything for himself or anyone else. So he’s not going to work for us.

Only just seen this post, i didnt scroll this far back.. ive just made one pretty much same. It’s probably the same as Leicester and Martin saying that Souttar isn’t for sale. Let’s us retain the strong hand.

We just beat Mansfield who had 39 year old McGoldrick up front, forgive me if my first thought wasn’t to lump on league title!I watch him all the time like I did Brewster. The issue is wilder thinks he will come good..said it to someone I know...for me he,s garbage..get rid.
I always forget to put a laughing emoji when I'm being sarcastic , sorryWhich is so, exactly, what the words I typed were saying![]()
