Can hear the 'Cod Army' roar from his back garden
He played CB for Burton I believe, him or spend £1M plus on EEL, no brainer.

Ridiculous !!No time for him, engineered a move to United by brown nosing on twitter when he should have been concentrating on playing for Cardiff, and then lo and behold as soon as Clough was despatched he didn't want to know or even seem to try for us.
Leave him to fight another relegation battle at Burton.
does he come out in hivesHis legs are made of honeycomb.
Please tell me Burton fkin Albion don't pay higher wages than us
Is there really a discussion to be had here ? Brayfords not been put on the transfer list , wilders had a chat with him , he's our player next season . Its whos going to line up with Brayford and O'connell at the back that interests me .
At the moment he'd probably be 2/3rd choice CB maybe even 4th, and at RB I'd probably go with Freeman in a back 5 or Brayford in a back 4.
I'm sure Wilder said in an interview he'd brought Riley in to push Freeman last season, so if we can get him for another year that gives us options at RB.
If we can then get another CB in who'd be an improvement on Brayford, then to me it would make sense to move him on.
A lot depends really on just how daft his wages are, or how arsed he is about coming back. If it's something like 15-20k, then I'd imagine we can get Riley + a CB in for a lot less than that, but if it's more like 10k then it could just be a case of whether he wants to come back.

He didn't want to leave us, wilder persuaded him.No time for him, engineered a move to United by brown nosing on twitter when he should have been concentrating on playing for Cardiff, and then lo and behold as soon as Clough was despatched he didn't want to know or even seem to try for us.

Transfer listing a player who you hope to get considerable money for puts you in a weaker negotiating position.
Absolutely nothing has suggested Wilder is desperate to have Brayford back.
I don't understand why so many seem to think he'll feature prominently for us next season.
What makes you think that Wilder, bearing in mind his play well/keep the shirt selection policy, would suddenly drop Basham, who's been outstanding, for Brayford? He's not going to disregard that form Basham showed just because it's a new season.
His legs are made of honeycomb.
Weh tha wrong then! Simple as that.I think wilder owes him ,sending him out on loan certainly seems to have damaged his reputation with some blades
Wilder should back.him.and keep him or come straight out and say we cant afford to keep him
Don't believe all this clough love child shit
Didn't seem to stop him keeping Burton up though did it
Yes MM you are correct he only trains lightly once or twice a week, and plays on injections as per my earlier post, i think the reality is that Brayford deserves some credit here, but playing through injury is not a good long term career plan. I dont think he is necessarily injury prone per sei, more like being pressured to play through injury. Im told its an operation this summer so the above debate might be academic anyway...Got into conversation with a Derby fan yesterday. He reckons that Brayford never trains as he is so injury prone.
Where it gets complicated is that we have a team that has achieved without him, and a manager who is very keen on keeping the finances in a certain structure.
The team that achieved without Brayford achieved it in L1. It won't achieve anything in the Championship. I can't believe the naivety of some of our fans who are saying that a championship quality footballer wouldn't be an asset to our squad.
Are you 6 ?John Brayford is only championship quality when he's playing for daddy cluff. How can this not been seen by everyone?
If you could guarantee he plays as well for us as he does them then of course. He'd be the best right back in the championship, but he won't. He'll sulk about the pitch wishing he was in a cat cafe eating an avocado.
