Does anyone think that Ravel Morrison might be used in forward position? Having only seen highlights and reading about his career I assume he has the strength on the ball and ability to hold it up while he also has the skill to take a man on or work in tight spaces to get a shot off.

Another CF at the AFCON, playing for Algeria.

He's looks a quality all round CF and has been one of the best players in the tournament. Strong, pretty quick, close control and hardworking. A real menace.

He plays for Al Sadd in Qatar where he has a fantastic scoring record, even accounting for the standard. He must be on massive wages there though.

The forward edge of the back bench, if he's lucky.

While there is undoubtedly a great ball playing genius in there, the jury is very much out as to whether he can consisitenlty contribute to a team game over the season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the punt as it is very low risk for us. Please don't go pinning your hopes on this kid as our wonder saviour though. He has had quite a lot of 'last chances' and so far failed to grasp them.

All signing are gambles ...but i would take a punt on Morelos ....trouble yes ...but goals so wouldn’t care too much about other shenanigans...red cards aside !

Send them Robinson on loan as a sweetener in the deal ..
