So I've got down 17 and that's what wiki says too. Ones in red are potentially like to leave aswell so that's another 6 maybe. Without anymore leaving, we've already lost 15 players.

Take away the reds which I agree will probably go - also consider T. Davies, RND and Brewster (?) are perenially injured then it leaves us with 8....

Surely if we don't sell anyone, the players in red dont go!? They are all contracted and although we don't want/like them long term, taking out Anel, Souza and Slimane (and even Grbic he says holding his breath...) seems too short sighted. Either we will sell them knowing we have replacements we will get or if its also down to no transfers due to the takeover, we keep them until January and then sell them.

My opinion is that Anel, Souza, Slimane and even Coulibaly would be good championship players if not setting the league alight.

There'd be something badly wrong if the first two weren't; Slimane, there's talent there but he's so, so bloody slow; and Coulibaly, apart from hope we really haven't seen enough to think that (in my opinion).

Assuming the ones in red leave which I agree feels likely then by my reckoning there's about 4 players there I'd be happy going into the season with as starters.

The rest either have serious injury concerns or should be subs and even then you'd probably want some players ahead of them on the bench.

That leaves us ideally needing at least 7 starters and 7 bench options.

Given the amount of work needed I wouldn't be surprised if we end up keeping Anel & Souza but I'm not sure that'd be the healthiest thing for the squad harmony.

Think it's unlikely any of the other youngsters are ready to seriously contribute but at this rate we could be forced to rely on a couple of them.

I can't see anyone offering enough money to tempt us to sell Arblaster, however I reckon someone will trigger Hamers release clause.

Its true only SUFC can have a pre-season worse than the one before and that was bad to start with.

What we need is 3 or 4 Osborn's who can play in attack, midfield' defence and in goal who can run around a bit to look like there is 11 of us . Also at half time they can serve behind the bars and meat pie booths .Help the ground staff after training ,fix the roof paint the stands issue match day tickets ,man the turnstiles ,wash the kit , help out in the treatment room .Just think what cash the prince could save . After all we must be one of the most skint clubs in the Championship having had only 3 years prem money and 2 years parachute cash and don't forget we spent all that cash on our new goalie and the odd 1 or 2 more million on other dynamic players last year .

Can’t see anyone outside the PL triggering it. Can’t see an obvious PL club to buy him.
