Now it’s over on the pitch it’s about time the sounds of silence from the board room was broken. Both parties need to tell us what the current position is, are they going to sort it as quick as possible for the summer recruitment to begin? What are the competing plans to move the club forward?

Wilder has produced a minor miracle to get us competitive until this stage with a bottom three budget But it’s now clear that without significant support from above no one will get us to the next level, by that I mean regularly competing for a play off / promotion spot.

A repeat of the current season budget won’t cut it next season, the sides coming down are better than what came down last season and the sides coming up look none to shabby either, throw in the likes of either Villa or Fulham plus The Pigs will give it another go with a better manager then they stared this one and will fiddle FFP like it doesn’t exist.

Time for answers.

The board will be fighting like rats in a sack well into the Autumn. Don’t expect anything positive from those Shysters on either side of the argument.

You may be right, but Wilder could speak up about it as he did at Northampton, he would have the fans almost 100% behind him, might jolt them into some sort of action.

Think CW should ask the question! He should ask for 10mill minimum, tell them upstairs to let him know by the weekend, so, if not I can go and answer the many clubs who want my services next season.

It’s a contractual dispute, they won’t until it’s resolved.

Clearly they can’t resolve the valuation until we know which division we’ll be in next year as it has a huge material difference. The sooner we know the sooner we can resolve it.

If they couldn't sort out this ownership battle quickly why didn't they wait with an annoucement until the season was over it just unsettles everyone .Or was this just an excuse as to why they didn't invest in the January window to make a charge at promotion.

I've not followed this ownership thing closely.
So, forgive me, I'm playing catch up.
I hear McCabe & The Big Prinz have some sort of paperwork. Which is entirely acceptable under The Law (apparently). That paperwork proves, blah blah something about how much money they've paid blah blah, that they (& I'm sure this is broadly right) own the club.
I know...
As in, they can choose to do what they want.
Literally - up to them... FFS
Some fella told me, it's like you, yourself, owning your house or your car - it's yours (I know)
A bigger budgie for Wilder... It's apparently left to the people who've (and I won't mince my words here) bought the club.
Me head's spinning

If nothing changes in the meantime, the summer budget has already been set (according to McCabe at the shareholder mtg), so wilder will already be aware of this.
I don't know why "God forbid if the Prince takes over", we know McCabe doesn't want to invest much in the club anymore, so if he stays aren't we just going to be treading water again with minimum investment?
As we stand isn't the Prince taking over the only chance of additional budget being provided?

Only guessing, but if the Prince has to fork out tens of millions to take control of the clubs assets, would there be a substantial amount of money left for a decent transfer budget?

I am of the assumption, HRH's personal wealth didn't stretch much beyond KM's

I'm also guessing, but i assume that's the issue between them........Prince wants to invest extra in the team and not in all the property.

If there’s one thing we can be sure of, it’s that there won’t be any money available for the summer until it’s resolved.

No, there is money available......already agreed................probably just won't be any improvement on what we spent last summer.

I'm sure you're right. But that's my point. Unfortunately, not the money available for CW to take us to the next level

Interest in Will Vaulks probably tells us we are still looking around the lower divisions and searching for basement bargains...............again

And would we be any better off should HRH take full control? I have my doubts. Not only that, I don't trust HRH. At least with KM, we know where we are and we also know he would at least prevent the club from going to the wall

I don't share people's worries about the team next season. With Coutts back and IF we hold onto Fleck then we will still dominate teams at home and play good stuff.

However if we want to be a serious top 6 contender and not another Ipswich or Preston then we need 2 strikers, a left wing back, a keeper and a centre half all capable.at this level.

I have no doubt Wilder knows this and that is where my fear is for this summer. If the boardroom dick waving contest causes more unrest and restricts recruitment - then we will be mid table hoping for more Wilder miracles in the market to push on - if Wilder hangs around. That's what worries me.

Deffo need a whole new strike force Leon can't keep going for ever and will be spending more time injured, Billy for all his know how is done at this level his legs have gone. Donaldson too old now and Ched sorry to say it if he is behind Sharpe and Donaldson then he will never be good enough. I can't see Lavery or Hanson making a return. Also needed a big bruiser of a centre back a LWB and keeper. Can anyone imagine in their wildest dreams Wilder being able to do all this on a couple of million looking much more likely Brooks will have to be sold just for us to stand still. If I was CW I would certainly be weighing up my options.

The only worry I have is that if the board don't back the team cw will move to a club that will grow with him , he his very ambitious and won't hang around too long utb.

I would like to see us go for Daniel Ayala.
I was really impressed with him at the lane.
He might be surplus to requirements if they go up, right age 27 only cost £350,000 and according to Wikipedia(i know) he signed a 3 and a half year deal in Jan 2014 so might be out of contract.
I guess wages could be the biggest stumbling block.
