Last summer's transfer business was on another level of abysmal though. It would be good to know how much influence Bord was given in that, I suspect it was considerable.

Given that the owners have collected some 20 million in sales with only frees and loans to replace our most creative players I fear for a disappointing season.
Constantly blaming the manager and recruitment staff though isn't going to help paper over the cracks of the major failures of the owners.

Being united helped propel us to our best seasons for years.
Being disunited may propel us in the opposite direction.

As I’ve said elsewhere, plenty of blame sits with the owners but plenty also sits with Wilder. It isn’t black and white, and that isn’t papering over any cracks. We haven’t been united for a long time now, and won’t be again under the current management set up in my opinion.

It’s actually possible to hold quite a few people responsible if we’re honest about it. Unfortunately it doesn’t really seem that some people can/will do that.

One question l would like an answer to is if any proposed transfer budget was pulled by the owners and we were knowingly only going to sign frees or out of contracts is why were we fed all the Souttar bid b/s?
