I don't remember Ian Porterfield ever doing it and not sure Dave Bassett really did either? I think it was once a season at the last home game. I do see Wilder's point about why he didn't do this on Wednesday although a lot of fans were annoyed.
We were rubbish, I wasn't happy but I didn't want to shout at the players either and not sure that helps. I enjoy post match celebrations like at Wednesday, Leeds, etc with the manager and fans, but that doesn't mean they should be obliged to do it every time.
I don't get the argument that because I chose to go to Fleetwood on Wednesday the manager should be obliged to thank or apologise to me. I remember the response Selles got when he stood in front of the fans at Middlesbrough and got a load of abuse, to be honest I'd prefer it if they had just gone straight down the tunnel.
