To all those getting worked up about nothing, the 'same old Utd', 'he'll go for the cheap option, always have always will', I hope you all feel suitably silly now, and perhaps take a moment to consider the worst outcome isn't always the inevitable one.

Thanks Prince Abdullah and the Board. This shows real ambition. Hard as nails manager, good style of football, won promotion twice. I may be going overboard but I think this is one of the best appointments we’ve ever made as Manager, I rate him that highly. Let’s give him the funds to get the job done, get rid of the deadwood and let’s get playing attacking exciting football again. Can’t fucking wait!!!!!!!

No chance Norwood goes anywhere. That really wouldn’t make any sense even if you think he’s had a poor season, he clearly fits in perfectly to Slav’s preferred way of playing. He stays for next season.

I am very pleased with this appointment, I hope he does justice to my enthusiasm. At last we have some stability to the whole Blades setup.
It would be very nice to have a season or three without the football Gods ballsing it all up as usual.
