Do we feel confident at 4-0 with 12 minutes remaining, or does anybody think Swansea could still snatch a draw out of this ?

Struggling to see why Jebbo is being ignored and MCBURNIE gets on

Swansea have had 62% and made double the amount of passes that we have, this is like a hecky team versus a jovanovic team

A really complete performance. That's the best I've seen a team play off the ball in a long time, everyone knew exactly where to be and who to mark at different times which allowed us to press right up to their keeper with no fear Swansea would ever attempt any sort of long ball over the back.

1 goal conceded in 7 now, Hecky has made us really hard to break down and with match winners like MGW, Sharp & N'Diaye it means we have more than a swinging chance in every game.

Swansea were a joke and I feel sorry for their fans having to watch a team who looked like they were at a training match. Kamikaze passing around the defence and first thought going forward is to go back. We could have easily had 8.

As for us, much better energy, pressing and tempo. While they caused their own problems we harried and hassled them into mistakes for 90 minutes. It was noticeable when we had the ball that we moved it forward quicker. Much greater inclination to take a risk. Playing MGW just off Billy worked really well. He put more effort in than I've seen in other games and constantly found pockets of space and room. He didn't always make the right decisions but unplayable at times.

Wes - 6.5 - Nothing to do really and the bit he had he did well
RND - 7.5 - Best game for us I think. I commented after the last game that he needs to put the ball in early and that's all it did. The first 3 times won us two corners and created a goal. I thought he was possibly the best defender as well. Showed great determination to get to the ball first.
Robinson - 6.5 - Solid and reliable.
Egan - 6 -OK. Not the greatest amount to do but got caught out of position a coupe of times
Basham - 6 - Showed great determination to get to the ball but the charges were a little reckless and unnecessary. Their two attacks first half both came from his errors but made up for it with some good interceptions. Hope he's not injured himself.
Baldock - 6.5 - Great finish for the goal and unlucky on the offside one. He really needs to stop getting involved with opposition players. He seems to revel in it, like the guy who whacks people with a wet towel in the changing rooms.
Fleck - 6.5 - Hassled and harried. Looked a lot more energetic and committed a lot of niggling fouls, which interrupted their play
Norwood - 7.5 - Great ball for the first and kept looking alert to play someone in. Terrible miss with the open goal but covered a lot of pitch today.
Berge - 7 - Strange one. He's way too slow sometimes, such as when the keeper passed to him and he was so slow to react he got tackled. Looked half asleep. He also seems impossible to shake off the ball when he goes down the side. Did some really good stuff, did some sloppy stuff.
MGW - 8 - Man of the match and they couldn't handle him. Still made a number of bad decisions but lots of great ones. Ran himself into the ground and seemed to revel in playing there.
Sharp -7 - Lots of energy and pressing. Took his goal well and linked up play really well.

Subs

Goode - 6 - Thought he slotted in pretty well, considering. Still not natural to him but didn't look out of place
McBurnie - Not on for long but thought he lost most of his small battles
Jebbison - Looked ok. Not quite at the races

Hecky - 9 - We clearly had a plan to press them high and stop them playing out and it won us the game. The game plan was perfect today.

Swansea - Terrible. So weak and timid. The terrible kamikaze playing out from the back, lack of fight and terrible keep ball which saw corners become passes back to their keeper awful stuff. Surprised they're not getting spanked every week tbh. There was no good player on their side.
