Totally hate this game, if we win its heaven if we lose its hell no inbetween, if we never played them again id be happy. As for this one form goes out of the window infact i think the under dog does best as its a free hit. We need to be really fired up for it as they will be, dont fear them but respect them im sure they will come to frustrate us and do a smash and grab. So for me dont go too gung ho keep it solid at the back and try to bring our quality to the fore but please dont lose

It's the pinnacle match. Emotionally stakes are huge. It just doesn't get any bigger for anybody from either club.

Is it so emotional for the players, given that many are not British, let alone from Sheffield ?
We know how stressful it is as a fan, but I wonder if this is a fight for 3 points for some players and nothing more than that.
Will the local lads in the squad wind up the “foreigners “ or will all the squad simply want to win anyway ?
 
Looked at pig talk all this there side is 60 m compared to 6 m etc the issue they have is it's at the lane where we usually win let's be truthful stats say that . They could try and decide strupt us but I watched them against Pompey and Swansea Pompey should have won Swansea was a bore draw but get pace at lowe and could easily win I say 2 nil
 
I know strange things can happen in Derby matches and I have seen a couple over the years , going back as far as the 1950’s when they unexpectedly beat us at the Lane in an FA cup replay ,mainly caused by a snowstorm blowing against us which led to one of their goals .

As for Sunday’s match , I can see no reason why we should not come out on top for a number of reasons .

To start with , we have much better and more talented players than them by some distance which is always a good starting point in any sporting competition .

Secondly , apart from the Leeds aberration we have shown ourselves to be well organised , defensively sound and difficult to beat .

Finally , if by any chance we do go behind at any stage we have shown that we have a group of players who have the ability , togetherness and determination to overcome that .

I can’t see anything less than a 2-0 win .
 

Not nervous (yet). It's been a while. Still have bouncing day massacre memories thankfully.

I was there on Bobby Davison night which will go down in history. I was also at Wembley which was the longest and quietest drive back to Sheffield I ever experienced.

I'm going for a Campbell hattrick, 3 nil the Blades 😬

I was talking from a fan perspective.
The players will be fired up to differing degrees regardless of being local or not. Blaster obviously will be. I can see Vini being very hyped. Also look how Burrows reacted at Bristol, I can see him being pumped up as well.

Pigs gave 2 pens away last week, we need to take advantage of this ineptitude at the back on Sunday, please no fannying about just fucking hit it. Also if we are 2 up can we actually try and score a 3rd and stop fucking about.
