If someone told me that Selles was under pressure and needed some kind of result, the last thing I'd expect to see is Soumare being dropped and Cannon starting.

Maybe he’s got a holiday booked and needs to get sacked lively…

I don’t blame people being negative as there has been 0 positives coming out of the club since the start of the season and the obvious difference between last seasons success and this seasons stuttering start is the manager.

Don’t get me wrong there is player sales, staff changes, new owners having their first pre-season etc. but to not be a little concerned would be neglectful BUT obviously it’s early doors and I think we can maybe, just about afford to sacrifice 6 games to see a genuine plan forming so the “give him time” faithful have something to hold on to as any more than that and it turns into actual crisis where action in some form or another will have to take place to steer the ship back onto some kind of course.

It would be bound to be a concern at the very least.

Rightly or wrongly, it’s the nature of the game now. I was one of those that advocated for Selles and I stand by that. Having said that, his tactics have had me baffled most of the time. But my main beef up to now has been the board. Yes we’ve got some signings in, but we need I’d say at least 6 more and a competent back up keeper would be nice.

Hopefully today we’ll get going, but don’t underestimate Milwall, they can hurt teams on their day

He's just gone a full 180 from the first half of game 1. Which is causing much bigger issues than that half ever did.

You can see that Peck, Hamer and particularly O'Hare are reluctant to pass the ball to Cannon. It hinders their game as they have no outlet to the right. Whenever Cannon gets the ball the attack stops. And poor Godfrey has zero support from him.
