Think Peck has proven he’s not a capable lone 6 in any capacity and Cannon is worse out wide than he is upfront if you can believe it. Selles needs a result today and that lineup has made me less confident.

Peck should have been dropped by now he's been poor. Him plus Cannon seemingly outwide just stinks to high heaven for me.

Defence gets a couple of boosts so he takes a hammer to the rest of the lineup.

Soumare was the one positive I have taken from the arrival of Selles and then he drops him.

He had a full pre season and 3 games in he has absolutely no idea what team he can play for the best results. Genuinely terrifying stuff!

That being said I hope it ends 4-0 blades and it’s the start of everything the hiring of Selles was all about

See we've gone for the red sea midfield option. Can only assume tactic is to go for it first half and bring Soumare on after an hour. Wall will do exactly what they did in the last game. Target Robinson and Burrows down the left using the battering ram Coburn to unsettle us. Big game for Bindon as he will experience Wall hoof for the first time and have to deal with Ivanovic. Whoever is on the left in front of Burrows be it Barry or Cannon they will need to do a lot of tracking back. Avoid set pieces at all costs.

but with missionaries not managers in charge of fixed formations I suspect he may just put Godfrey in for Seriki or Bindon from last weak week.
Godfrey and OHare on the right offer about as much threat going forward as a placebo does to healthy people.

ZERO width ZERO CROSSES until Hamer runs wide - apart from dead balls where we are generally poor for various reasons.
If they are big lumps as some have suggested Barry running at them may work
and it could be argued crosses are useless.
But I do not - I argue the opposite.
Get it forward EARLY, get it wide, get them turning and beat them to the ball (and goals and chances) by your mobility.
Is he making it even worse for Cannon on the left where him and Barry have failed but he at least is using to wasting himself there? Surely not.
Difficult to predict when you are dealing with the WTF are they thinking.
