I think Millwall will bully us today they could score a couple from corners we don't have a lot of height in the team and if the marking is anything like it was v Bristol well ................ It could well be the owners waiting until the last week of the transfer window before recruiting throws away 12 points or more.

Seen it said that Godfrey should be able to play, assuming Zatterstrom is as well so he's on the bench.

------------------Cooper
Seriki-Godfrey-Bindon-Burrows
-----Peck---Soumare---Hamer
O'Hare--------Campbell-------Barry

Vague memories of going to Millwall in 1983 and there being more trouble at the end where they split the home and away fans down the middle and a coach getting its windows put through after the game.
Won 2-1 with Alan Young having to go in net after Keith Waugh got his arm gashed on a hook on a goalpost. Health and safety a bit different in those days.
Big game today, sort of game we need to get something from if we're going to stay up.

I think today all depends on how the opposition play, if Millwall play like they did at Norwich it’s unlikely we will get anything, however if they play like they did at home to Boro then we have a chance of a result.

It’s a damming indictment of how under prepared we are that this is the case, but 3 games in and we still don’t have the players we need and are having to hope the opposition have an off day in our home games.

Heart says we grind out a 2-1 win.

Head says we go down 1-3

C’mon Blades! Today’s the day we get up and running. (2-0 Campbell and Barry.)

Things are starting to come together nicely

3-1 win

Sorry but I think that’s total rubbish, we play as well as we can today and we are too good for Millwall.

Same team expected
I question how bad managers like Wilder and Selles get jobs when they never react to what actually happens on the pitch.
We CANNOT have a balanced team out there with the limited unbalanced squad so I would be putting out the best players and hoping they cannot cope with our ability going forward
Nominally

Cooper
Seriki Bindon Robinson Burrows
Peck Soumare
Barry Hamer Brooks
Campbell.

WTF you do when Peck and Soumare (and Bindon possibly) have to come off just exacerbates the absurd position we are in with our ludicrous transfer activity.

BUT **** me, at least put players in sensible positions even if we have only wing backs not fullbacks for example.
Well it all kicked off 10 minutes after this post.
So yes I am taking credit.
Pleased with both signings - would not have bought Godfrey as I said but loans are different.
I would like to get to something like

Cooper
Godfrey Nils Robinson
Seriki Peck Soumare Burrows
Hamer Campbell Brooks
.
but with missionaries not managers in charge of fixed formations I suspect he may just put Godfrey in for Seriki or Bindon from last weak week.
Godfrey and OHare on the right offer about as much threat going forward as a placebo does to healthy people.

That looks pretty attacking... Not much protection in front of the back four.

Think Peck has proven he’s not a capable lone 6 in any capacity and Cannon is worse out wide than he is upfront if you can believe it. Selles needs a result today and that lineup has made me less confident.

I can only assume Soumare has taken a knock or something?

Literally the only player to come out of both of the last two games looking decent, and this leaves us with no effective defensive cover in midfield.
He’s on the bench so surely can’t be an injury 🤷‍♂️

Apologies, yes guard of honour on to pitch i forgot the be kind era
Why pick out a player on the bench to moan about before the game? An academy product who's had shit luck with injuries?

Any chance to post something negative has to be taken, lest people smile too much or turn up the Lane with any positivity...
