ON WHAT CREDENTIALS?
I’m an orthopaedic surgeon. Just based on how he appeared as he stood up after injury. Obviously would need clinical examination and X-rays !! Worst outcome would be clavicle fracture as 6-8 weeks to heal however treated. Shoulder dislocation would need to be popped back in and a few weeks out. AC joint dislocation depends on severity of injury as to how treated.

Can we all PM photos of our problem areas to see if they require further investigation?

Was it that obvious matron?
“Well, doc, I was up this ladder, you see, and I had no trousers on because it was a hot day, and I lost my balance. Would you believe it, I actually managed to fall onto this bugle, which I had left standing upright onto the floor, and that’s when it entered me, if you will. Completely accidentally.”

Wasn't there a vicar who rolled into A&E with a potato up his jacksie and a similar story?
