JRS doesn't seem to have the confidence or consistency to repeatedly cause major problems. I also don't think he's got the physical attributes to make it at PL level. When you look at some of the beasts tearing it up in the PL for teams like Bournemouth and Brentford JRS is nowhere near that level.
Brooks does my head in. I think he's a very over-rated player. No way is he a winger. Ok he produces the odd flash of decent play (and took his recent goals well) but that's not enough. He hasn't got a clue when running down the wing towards the defender. He stalls our play by generally stopping and playing the easy ball cut back to another player. With the issues in the middle of the park of late, it's obvious too that Wilder doesn't see him as an affective midfield player - otherwise we wouldn't have shoehorned Burrows into midfield in times of need.
JRS will be fine with more experience and hold his own at high Championship/very low prem level. Brooks, I'm afraid, is low champ level - teams like Cardiff, Plymouth, Portsmouth will be his next move.
