Seriki

We always seem to have a very strong right hand side.

While Gilchrist is here, makes sense to share the load between them both. Think Seriki has the higher theoretical ceiling and is obviously our own player, so should treat this as his breakthrough season slowly.

If injuries don't become a problem, Seriki will follow Walkers footsteps (top Prem level), whole Gilchrist will follow Naughtons (flirting between Prem/Champ)

Big fan of this lad, had a shit time in belgium and has turned it around. Well done to him 👏

Keep it up boyo

As young and as raw as he is, we missed him tonight

The only one who actually does what we all want from an attacking winger. Aggression and pace

Just not seeing it from Brooksy and JRS

I know Seriki is classed a RB, but I can see him doing the winger role

I know JRS had come back from injury tonight but he’d been so so before his injury

As for Brooksy, one good game 4 so so games

Yes,he's the only one going on the outside and cutting it back from the byline...when Brooks or Rak Sakyi cut in,we need the full back on the overlap providing the width and pulling balls back from the byline...missed him off the bench tonight, hope he's not injured again.

That finish from JRS was just awful! He was trying to put it in the top corner I'm sure but it f he'd just put it across the face he had a decent chance of scoring. Anything but hoof it over the bar.

That second half was crying out for him, Gilchrist got in some great positions but he just can’t do what Seriki can do.

It’s definitely highlighted the need for another option at RB. At the moment it’s not looking like Seriki is going to be able to stay fit, really hope I’m wrong.

The game was crying out for him as a whole as it was Rak Sakyi from the start.

I still for the life of my me can't understand why Wilder won't give JRS and Brooks a go down either wing at the same time they would terrorise defences and create space too.

Has it been cleared up why Seriki wasn't available last night? Listened to the CW post match interview and didn't hear anything about it?

It's mad isn't it?

But I'm sure "the numbers" tell him that "probability" decreases when wingers play on their natural sides, or something - so he has no choice but to obey

I thought Wilder said a tight calf?

Heard that it's a torn hamstring....really hope that's wrong or we are going to be needing JJK to come in and be the 2nd coming of a Baldock/Bogle hybrid. Gilchrist is nowhere near good enough to be a starting RB.

Seriki is a real talent but another one who seems to be made of ice cream wafers .. injury wrecked his loan spell at Rotherham too I seem to remember

Last season Hecky was blamed for all the injuries and I'm sure Wilder said upon his return that he would sort out the problem.

There seems to be as many injuries this season as last.

Massive shame, if true.
You worry for his career the amount of injuries he's already picked up.

Such a talent and a real difference maker for us too. We don't have anyone else like him, he was starting to look a key player.

I can’t ever recall Wilder lying about an injury before… possibly the duration of an injury but not the injury itself. Don’t understand why Wilder would say ‘tight calf’ if it was a torn hamstring or a snapped tendon.
