Of course this is a problem for those of us who ❤️ The Agenda. We want to attack our club for not bringing in permanent transfers before 9th August, but we also want to berate it for effecting loans that we are obliged to convert into permanent deals on January 1st, in case the player breaks his thumbnail or contracts measles.

Our problem is that we have overlooked the reality that the permanent signing comes with exactly the same risks and consequences.

Whatever shall we do?

Check the fax machine is in full working order for January?

well means that gallacher is off which more the read the more I'm relieved, because they've already brought ings in

Oooohhhhhh heck !! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Wait for it ……. thought police on the way …….

UTB & FTP

He’s taking the piss out of people like you. Sadly your chuckle level hasn’t progressed beyond fax gags from the last decade, so you haven’t noticed...

This 'waiting for selling club' stuff could very easily be a smokescreen from Wilder.

I'm quite inclined to believe Gallagher is the main target because we've been strongly linked from the start of the window, he still seems available/attainable and is the type of striker we need most.

If we're genuinely waiting for a club to sign someone, who else could it really be other than Hogan?

Well done for clearly laying out the loan window options, but don’t be surprised if plenty simply ignore or refuse to understand how that all works...

The 2018 version of “does anyone have the GCB ringtone?” is “but does this mean we have to sign him at the end of the loan?”
The media is partly to blame. They barely mentioned the possibility of loans for league clubs during their deadline day coverage. Probably because it makes it less dramatic and, of course, they’re obsessed by the PL.

The only effect it had on league clubs is that PL clubs couldn’t buy players from them after the deadline closed.

I wonder how long it'll take for the previous transfer window setup to be reinstated?

The way it is now is an absolute farce and benefits nobody.

I hope the geniuses who voted for it are happy.

has to be from next season, I agree with the principal, but it makes no sense unless all leagues follow the same structure.

A 6 goal a season man?
I can see the concern about the lack of goals, it troubles me also, but see him as a piece of a jig saw, he will either fit very well and make the whole picture look better and function as a unit, or not. Wilder and his team are paid good money to do their homework and KNOW whether he is the right piece , and take all the guesswork out of it. I still, in spite of a few mistakes, trust him to do that.

What I find odd is the huge difference between folk on here who rate hogan highly and some who wouldn't want him, same with Gallagher, obviously we all have opinions but the extreme difference between these opinions doesn't help me who doesn't know enough about either of them, time for a poll

Lewandoski ?

I think the new transfer window setup does benefit us and other Championship clubs.
Premier League clubs can't sign our players in the final hours of the transfer window, leaving us little or no time to sign a replacement.
The Premier League squads are all in place now and it's obvious who is going to be surplus to their requirements.
This gives us three weeks (rather than a few hours) before our final window shuts, to sift through the list of available players and put deals in place.

Your quite correct. I did mean to state 'buying club' rather than 'selling club' and didn't have time to read my post before I posted it.

In my defence though, I was typing it whilst having the old dear wittering on in my ear at the same time and i was trying to look vaguely interested in what she was saying. Clear evidence I suppose that men can't multi task. Though as i point out to the missus, I could watch porn and drink beer both at the same time if she wanted me to prove her wrong...

It's a woman thing saying men can't multi task, men can multi task just fine. It's just that when we have something to do we apply logic and do each job in turn and in the simplest order to achieve the best results. Women don't, they tackle everything head on, have a nervous breakdown and blame men for it.

I opened up my browser the other day on MSN and there was an article explaining why men are better at directions than women. So I thought I've gotta read this.

And apparently it's mens fault that women are no good at directions, apparently because they have been kept in their place by men for so long they have never had to find their own way in life going back as far the hunter gatherer era.

I thought "that's typical" when they're proven to be rubbish at something they can still blame men for it

I read a scientific report a few years ago.

It said that it’s been scientifically proven that men and women’s brains function differently.

Apparently women’s brains are generally better at multi tasking whereas men’s brains are more adapted to focused concentration. It also said that men’s brain are naturally better at spacial awareness. Explains why men are generally better at parking and judging distances when it comes to driving.

As a general rule (doesn’t apply to everyone though) Men are technically better than women at driving but women are statistically safer drivers than man. That’s because some women lack confidence so drive carefully and slowly. Where as male drivers are generally more confident but with that confidence speeds are faster with more risk, so more chance of accidents. Women used to pay lower insurance pemiums then men, not sur if that’s still the case.

Men's brains are 3' closer to the ground

Can’t disagree. My partner sometime accuses me of noticing any girl/ women with big tits.
It’s almost a sub concious thing. I’m not even thinking about women (no concious interest) but my eyes might wander for a split second without my control.

Although I’m the same if a curvy sports car (Ferrari, Lamborghini) goes past ha ha.

Living proof that pigs can multi task by being a wank pig and pretending to be a Blade (for some odd reason) at the same time.

Reminds me of a Chubby Brown joke

"I was chatting this bird up in a club and she asked me how big me dick was, I said 4 inches and she said is that all you've got, I said 4 inches from the ground ya ####"
