Doesn't a transfer embargo in football normally mean that clubs can't bring players in, but they are allowed to move them out? Especially if the embargo is for financial (tax / SCMP / FFP) reasons? This only makes sense if they wanted to get someone else in before allowing Joao to leave... I can't see it. Not sure i'm that bothered even.
