Nothing groundbreaking, but our targets are Sam Gallagher and Marvin Johnson.

If he had in scored against us, would anyone know that he existed?Out of those i'd rather have Joao.
Pacey, tall, strong, looks to have a decent weak foot too judging by his goal against us
But then again he's not English so probably Gallagher
I mean this is earth-shattering stuff, but thank you for the update! You know how far along?

Still haggling over wage contributions for Gallagher whose on almost double our highest earners wage (22k). They expect Johnson to get done. Gallagher is our primary striker target.
Having never watched Gallagher play, and getting 100% of my information about him from Wikipedia. It seems he is 6 ft 4 with a mediocre scoring record (about 1 in every 5 games).
Can someone who's keyed up on his game explain how he'd solve either of the 'we need pace up front' and 'we need a goalscorer' problems?
Good. Glad that Wilder sees that we need a Gallagher more than a Hogan.
But I'd rather have Joao than both. Don't think that's possible though, not until January.
Shut up and take your logic elsewhere. You know full well that you can tweak what you said to almost always make you look right and ITK.
Another titbit,is that people on the technical board are worried about Hogan's injury record. The info comes from the son of a United director. As some people know, I used to work at the club and sometimes bump into the odd person who still works at the Lane.
Exactly this. Unless wilder is being his old foxy self again, but I don't see what angle he could be working with Southampton if he is trying to put pressure on.Hasn't Wilder said that the Striker we're after will only come to us once his club have got a replacement in. Southampton can no longer make any signings so you've got to assume we're not in for Gallagher?

So there's no truth in what Wilder said about us having to wait for the selling club to get a replacement striker in first?

Good point. He's not the one for me.Having never watched Gallagher play, and getting 100% of my information about him from Wikipedia. It seems he is 6 ft 4 with a mediocre scoring record (about 1 in every 5 games).

Is the £22k Gallagher's wage or our highest earners wage?
Surely Norwood must have now become our highest earner? His Brighton contract will have been decent and with plenty of Championship clubs interested he wouldn't need to take a big drop.
Surely, with the window for premier league clubs shut nearly a week ago, this should be getting done relatively soon if it is Gallagher, they signed Ings as well. All of CW's talk has been it will be a late one, waiting for other teams etc. To be fair, if it's either Gallagher or Hogan I would prefer hogan, but we just need another option up front. Gallagher more of a target man, Hogan more of a pacey striker, but can also hold it up as well.I've no idea. That would lean more to Hogan,Assombalonga and any other player below the premier league. All I was told is that Gallagher is the one he wants. The numero uno target.
