I've renewed. I'm not going to let my feelings for McCabe or the Board stop me following my club. Perhaps we'll see some of the glory hunting, fair-weather supporters on here returning if things pick up?
Perhaps we can all stand at the urinals and have another pissing competition about who has been where and how many grounds etc etc. Problem is, you might get the shock of your life when everyone puts their credentials on the table.

I'm with you on this one, and seriously, please don't feel sorry for me Lenners.
I can fully understand fans not renewing. I've been a Blade since being a kid the mid-seventies, had a season ticket for nearly 30 years and yet of the friends I go with (and have been all over the country with) a couple have not renewed last year and this.
I would like to say I feel sorry for those that haven't. I can't personally can't understand the feeling of seriously deciding that I didn't want a season ticket and so I suppose feel sorry for those people that have made this choice, but I can understand why people have, including long-time unbelievably loyal Blades.
For me, I still want to watch United, whatever the league.
I won't pretend for a few moments I haven't wondered if I really wanted to pay £409 and to watch this current lot, but then I think that some of the best times and most memorable were in the lower leagues. I know we are crap now, and I hate the current crop of over-paid wasters as much as anyone, probably more than most. I'm sure most of the current lot just view us as another notch in their career towards the bright lights of the Premiership in their mis-guided, over-inflated view of themselves. I am also not impressed that players who were keen to play for United when were in the Premiership and Championship and got handsome - too handsome - rewards for it, now seem too think they are too good to play in the 3rd tier with us. Problem is we can't afford to keep them, and frankly I don't want them anyway, but I'd love the club to tell them that they put us there and so they have to stay with us and have 1st division footballer stamped on their passport.
I'm sure we will get better, one day.
I hope the club does recover enough to attract some of the proper Blades back, and by that I don't mean promotion to the Premiership, I don't actually want those fans back tbh, but I am very concerned that a lot of fans have given up for good.
And fair play to you. Renew or don't renew its a decision we all make every season. Doesn't make you a better person one way or the other. Top post, constructive and honest.

There are different levels of glory hunting. For the likes of Man U, glory is winning trophies. For the likes of us, it's getting to the top flight. Our ground was packed for just about every game in the Premiership. Where are those fans now? Some of the comments on here are an absolute disgrace.....I won't go until X happens.....I've stopped going and don't even miss it ....I'm not going to renew because I don't like the fucking pies. If some of the people on here think so little of the Blades what the fuck are they doing on a Blades fans website?
You just don't get it do you. If Glory Hunting includes just being in the Premier League how come we got 25k+ the season after? Sheffield United are probably one of the greatest non-glory hunting clubs you could possibly support.
But keep on digging Deano, you might make ridiculous poster of the year award at this rate.
