The thing that always riles me about bad refs is that there appears to be no repercussions for a bad performance, therefore no incentive to be better. Why aren’t they taken to task in some way? If anyone was to look at the inconsistencies in his decision making last night, they would have to say he didn’t know what he was doing. He let them get away with some obvious fouls then would immediately blow for one against. Is that was the same or less obvious. Not saying he got the GW one wrong, by the way, but their lad should’ve got a second yellow for that cynical trip on Fleck.
Yet another bad ref performance goes unnoticed and we are on to the next one.
And I don’t think our players get on them enough after the bad decisions; can you imagine Man U, Liverpool or Arsenal players in that circumstance, and Klopp would be on the pitch reffing it himself.
