I thought we were dreadful in the first half and Sheffield United were comfortably the better side.

We were ruthless after conceding as we have been throughout the season. The difference was, we finally sat back and defended a lead. We'd have lost that 3 weeks ago.

Sheffield United are far better than the position they sit in. Some of the best players in the division.

Thought first half we were by far the better side and Cov looked bang average throughout.

Schoolboy defending for their two goals and after that, a real lack of urgency. Trying to over play even in the last 5 minutes and added time when there were clear opportunities to get the ball into the box.

Soumare was steady enough despite his woeful passing but Jairo should have come on sooner as we were crying out for a refresh after 60 mins.

Yet another really piss poor referee. Missed a blatant penalty on Seriki half and to be fair, Cov maybe should have had one second half.

Couldn’t see the incident with Campbell clearly from BLUT but if he’s diving in that position he wants shooting.

Bindon can fuck off for me. Nesh as fuck. I really want to like Tanganga but he makes some fucking god awful mistakes and commits needless fouls.

Another missed opportunity to get 3 points which were there for the taking.

Whilst you obviously weren't great, I actually thought you showed tonight why you'll go up. You reminded me of us last season and in our promotion season under Heckingbottom where we knew how to grind results out despite not always playing great. It will be interesting to see how you get on next season as you're very direct which could lend itself well to the top flight

i had a feeling in 1st half that it was going to be 1 of those nights & it was. with multiple last ditch blocks & it was the case. ill defend cooper, as our defence can be fragile, its better than under selles, we always look like we will concede & that mad 5 mins after we took the lead cost us the win.

as 1st was poor & 2nd was worse how rudouni was afforded that much room

but i felt we deserved a point. espically which what went on with that ref, 2 penalties we shouldve had. ref needs his licence revoking for booking campbell

For the most part I enjoyed the game and thought we played well, apart from the profligacy in the first half, and bonkers defending for their goals. It was a reverse of last season, in that we were good to watch (mostly), and it was an interesting and enjoyable game, result aside. Just relaxing now for the rest of the season, and to be fair, we haven't been in that situation for a long time.
Onwards and upwards I suppose!!

Thought we dominated the first half but with nothing to show for it of course.

We know ourselves that the difference between going up or not is often in grinding out those unlikely one goal wins which is exactly what Frank Limphand did tonight.

Chris had our lads up for it tonight though and it bodes well for next season if we can strengthen in key areas.

Good game last night. Your players were certainly up for it and pushed us all the way. The main differences were the GK's and the defending. You needed a deflected shot to score past Rushworth, but otherwise he dealt with everything. Your GK looked shaky and shouldn't have conceded the 1st goal.

On the defending. Our players threw themselves at every shot and didn't leave much space. You left Rudoni unmarked in the middle of the goal. He was never going to miss from there.

Brooks looks very good and I hope we take a look at him at the end of the season. We would be the perfect place for his next move in his career. Lampard has worked wonders with our attacking midfielders and would help him to move to the next level.

It's starting to look like we're going up. If we do, good luck next season and will see you again in 18 months unless you go up as we go down. And thanks for being accepted by those who enjoy talking about football on another clubs site

It's quite a while since we were "scoring 3 a game" and even when we did, save for Ipswich, it was largely against lower league teams. We really struggle to exert ourselves against higher table sides

Why didn't we bring on another forward as soon as they score 2 in minutes instead of waiting 15 mins then bringing Reinawald on and nearly 20 before Campbell, we should have started with 2 up imo but this has gone on game after game, nothing to lose we aren't going down so go for it!

Couple of observations.

Sereki got a bollocking from Peck for the 1st goal , think it got to him and he lost his confidence after that .Not blaming either but just how it looked.

Soumare was a bit loose with the ball but generally recovered but was playing well forward , when Jairo came on we seamed to lose that aspect .

Not criticism of the decision as we dont know the thinking but we lost a bit of a threat .

Unfortunately, they are top of the league for a reason, and we are in the position because of gutless performances like last night!

We can all say 'they played crap' etc, but they beat us!!!

1st half we showed a bit of grit, fight and determination. taking my blades tinted glasses off, I do think the ref had a decent game.

COH didnt have a great game and that shows you how much we rely on the bloke. When he doesn't perform, the whole teams goes to pot!

Onwards and upwards, but can't see us making play-offs!
