It's just that those seem to be the two options right now according to the rumours.

If as it seems, we are going to be fishing in a smaller managerial pond, then I guess Wilder is my choice.

I just wonder where it will all end if we just keep sacking people all the time. Pick the right guy, whoever it is, give him some respectable tools to do the job, and give him time to do it.

We are in a pretty fucked up state right now, but it isn't going to stop and turn on a sixpence. Time is just as important an investment as money.

Hmmm...it's a tough one....

Bury 1-0 was a low point for me and a point of no return for Adkins in my eyes. The worst performance and the worst starting line up in my 46 years watching Utd ,when you look at some of the shit we have had both managers and players ,that takes some doing. Everything that is poor about a manager was evident that night ,he should have walked at the final whistle.

Direct, get the ball to the target man. Normally 451, but occasionally 433. Favours experienced players over youth. No track record of bringing through youth players. 48 years old.

Sounds like exactly who we don't want.
I really don't see the logic in sacking Adkins. Going to take a massive chunk of the budget up paying him off to get in someone else who isn't any better and seems to be the total opposite of the direction we've been trying to move in for years with attractive football.

This is completely inaccurate. Adkins complaints have moved the club towards the appointment of a dof.
