Does McCabe make a huge, bold decision and grovel to Warnock to come back for a final hurrah?.....would Neil tell him to feck off anyway?

I am amazed at the calls for Neil to come back, the man was hounded out of the club by a large proportion of the supporters, many of whom seem to have short memories. (Not suggesting you Torrix).

I tend to think going back to old managers doesn't always work, they aren't NW's players and I for one don't really want to go back to hoofball and division.

Can you really see McCabe twisting, the fact that he would n't supplement a team in our position in the loan window for the final push suggests that promotion isn't that important to him?

Dont get me wrong fellas I'm certainly not one who is shouting for the return of widow twanky at all, I'm simply just wondering if McCabe is considering doing anything at this late stage.

Personally I don't think he will do owt, like Cave said I'm not convinced that promotion would be as good for McCabe as it would be for the rest of us, in fact it might be a disaster for him personally!!

Couldn't agree more, I want to go back to us having some self respect, to us going to games with expectation, to us being the giant killers (not vica versa), I don't think NW is the man, but I am happy to be proved wrong.

The biggest noose round the clubs neck appears to be the chairman who has sold off anything that is not nailed down and has lost the will to back the club any further. January sums it up for me, top of the league and we flow our top scorer, who is now warming the bench at Reading.

For all my moaning I think we'll get 83 pts and fall over the line in 2nd.

Its then we need to make some big decisions and that means fucking off most of a promotion winning team and manager.

What ever happens we can't start next season with Wilson and most of our squad.

We need to set our sights higher. We need someone who can build our club back up.
There are a few candidates around, whoever it is needs to install some bite and fight back into the team.

If we put up a fight like QPR did at Fulham we would have every man, boy and dog fully behind the team.
We just don't do anything at the moment. If Wilson could get us playing with something, anything he'd not be under pressure but we don't offer anything at all. We are not a threat, we need to be and it needs to start today.

Look at the fans at Tranmere and we hardly set the world on fire did we?

I feel I could 'throw' every time we have a fixture at the moment - it's just so nausiating.

It's going to be like this until 3 games before the end of the season when we realise we will not make enough points for the Auto's.

i reckon we will beat Crewe and Walsall and draw at Portsmouth. All three teams will come at us and our form,in general,away from home has been excellant

We will beat Crawley and Brentford. Brentford in particular dodgy away from home. A Bees mate of mine said they have been shocking away fromhome and have lost 5 out of the last 6on their travels

That will leaves us having to get 3 points out of Preston or Swindon to get to 85 points which means we will be relying on goal difference to finish above Bournemouth who i think will win their last 4 games(I really hope Tranmere have something to play for the last game of the season against them.

They are +16 and we are +18 at the moment

Swindon looked awful at Donny and I only hope they come and attack us when they play here as it may suit our style
